ELMATO for the event quest

I have an event quest where I need to kill a total of 5 monsters, one of those monsters being an ELMATO well I've killed 2 now and neither one was accepted by the event quest as me having killed it...

this would be the 3rd time that I have done this event quest IF I could get it to register the fact that I have indeed killed the thing...

please look into this as it is yet another problem, glitch, bug or what ever you people want to call it.

I get on this game to relax, have fun and maybe just maybe build my ship up a little at a time but all I seem to get anymore from logging into this game is one constant annoyance after another after another and all because someone cant seem to fix the problems without causing yet more problems ohh but rest assured that if these problems, glitchs, and bugs worked to help "the player" they would all be fixed within a days time or less but since it only hurts the player it "takes time" to fix the issue...

well by the time they get around to fixing the issue(s) the event will be done and over the event is already about half way over if not more...

communication works wonders... we talk to you... you talk to them... then problems get fixed its that simple

which was yet another elmato (3rd one ive killed) I tried to kill after having posted my problem

 

We are aware of the problem with the Quest Giver not working. We are looking into it now to see if we can fix it.

sorry bro, those were not the 'right' elmato you need kill 2 elmato, not elmato . I hope this helped

 

As you are aware we are having certain problems with the quests, if you are really stuck on one then try cancelling that quest and restarting it again.

We understand the frustration that you are feeling, but be aware this is being looked into and we will hopefully resolve this shortly.

 

may this helps. Do the ships and monsters right in that order that is shown in the questgiver , por example 2 alignants 1 ghirradora 1 elemato. from top to bottum. mine worked like that. if i started with the one showed in 3rd place i didn´t got it.

 

This is correct, it appears it works fine if done in the correct order.

might want to make it CLEAR to EVERYONE that can actually get on the game not to mention the people that can actually get the quest giver to work that everything for each and EVERY quest needs to be done in EXACT ORDER

example
kill 2 whocares <-------- kill these first
kill 1 whatsitmatter <---- then these
kill 1 whybother <------- then these

(note these are not the actual names of any of the event ships please do not go looking for them)

If I get to stand in the corner for a while for my use of capital letters then so be it

It appears you have solved your issue, is this correct?

 

from what I can figure yes

pass the word on that it appears that all items for all event quests need to be done in order or it will not let you finish the quest regardless of how many times you kill whatever you need to finish the quest if you do not...

NOTE: I said it appears, the reason I say this is because every time I have done them in order I have had no problems completing the event quests...

It has been the 2 times now (2 different event quests) that an event quests have not let me finish and that (as far as I can tell) has to do with the fact that I simply just did not start at the top of the list and work my way down the list from the 1st to the last...

sad it had to be this way, waste of ammo, harps and time
