cheats and account sharing

i reported a cheat whos also sharing his account to bp, i was then chat banned for 7 days when this was sent direct to bp not on chat i served the 7 day ban and today the same person messaged me and said they where not the account holder for that boat and i said really your still sharing accounts and was banned again for 12 hurs please tell me how this can be plausable and if there not getting there accounts nbanned then am i allowed to share my accounts i have? everyone else seems to be getting away with it why cant i?

Sharing accounts is strictly against the rules, if you wish to partake in it then your account is subject to have punishment taken against it. As for your chat ban, any mention of account sharing is chat is strictly forbidden. nimitz you say its stricly against the rules but take a look at a response i got from support a while back

Then this supporter will be informed that the information has been updated since that mail. Please understand that this was in March 2012, and there have been updates to the T&C's since.

As you can see from our recent Terms and Conditions it is against the rules.

9.3.4 The User is not entitled to sell their account to a third party or in another way, shape or manner to transfer it.

 

Maybe the key word there is "transfer" so letting your child, friend or spouse play on your ship is not a formal transfer in any shape or manner provided you continue to keep control?
