Carrying Hollows

    For some time now I have noticed that when I carry around anymore than 3 mill or so Hollows my ships speed is affected dramatically, (this is at full rep & lvl 5 sails) despite several emails to support describing this they have apparently checked my ship and say that the speed is "normal", I , however beg to differ !

    I have a smaller ship which can carry the same amount (& then some) at a quicker speed, which makes me think that there may be an issue with my ship or account ! Is there a limit to the amount of hollows which you can carry before speed is affected ? Also would anchors affect my speed, ? I have 3 , for some reason on my ship, seem to remember reading that they made you turn quicker ? Are there any other factors I should be taking into account on my ship which could be affecting speed?

    There should be no limit as hollows are weightless now.

    2 bugs that it could be.
    off the top of my head, your sails may not be working orr hollows aren't weightless for you and actually have the effect that the old hollows have.

    Also add your ID as then mods can assist you.

    Go to "Official Announcements" in the Forum and scroll down and click on "AMS Phase I" then on "FAQs" and read that thoroughly. While reading, you will find the Speed Charts and discussion of Speed and the changes that have been made. I hope this helps you some!

    Ahoy saltire,

    Both static and The*defiant are correct. All cannonballs are indeed weightless and should not effect your speed now. Also, please follow what The*Defiant suggested an read up on the new AMS Phase 1 update. This will inform you on the changes with speed. My guess is you may not have sails on your ship.

    MOD do not know but it seems that blocked me with invitations to haul through the guild. so please help me to take my call, or tell me how I wish that he delivered him to unblock invitations .... thennxxxxxxx

    Nimitz, i have read this , my ship is slower when i increase hollows, reading charts will not solve this, as for sails , my inventory is showing i have them in stock, when i am sunk they show correctly as being damaged. Can you investigate further please or pass my query onto the relevant dept.
