What is "boost"?

    On my Seachart under the tabs Options/ Graphics/ Animation I just found at the very bottom below "Show other players' pets" a box to check (or not check) labeled "boost". What is it?

    what i see with the boost is once checked you stop seeing all others firing around you but everything seems the same will have to check it out in battle interesting thought

    It is the ability to remove all other players ships from your sea chart window, to help with any lag at that time. It is not meant to be a permanent view but a boost to prevent lag.

    Please be advised if you use this you will not see any ship that is attacking you.
