can we please get new auction

we need two auction places one for gold hackers and one for the rest of us there is no way people can bid over 550 mill every action on every item all day and night long half the time they not even playin but take bids time after time again really makes new players want to stay when u stand no chance of bidding on any thing not every boat has more gold than a guild.

 

I have to agree. There is players that hold these auctions constantly and bid crazy amounts of gold. How is there is a gold limit on guilds but these players have more than a guilds limit ? When is something going to be done ? If they holding over 200 bill how can a guilds limit only be 4bill ? I know you going to say report these players , that is done read it all the time but they still here doing the same things.

 

This issue is going on for years now and I developed my own hypothesis that BB has no interest in tackling this issue.

I base my hypothesis on the following points:

1.) We players are made main responsible to detect and reporting "suspicious" activity.

In my opinion the main responsibility to detect and stop the use of unauthorized methods to gain gold (or other game resources) should lie in the hands of BP.

2.) Penalties like suspension for a couple of months for players that were detected for using unauthorized methods are somewhat laughable.

BP should really take their own code of conduct serious (see section 1.2 in Terms and Conditions), especially at times like now where the use of unauthorized methods has grown out of hand.

In my opinion there is be a relative easy option to fight these problems:

All accounts are part of a big database which BP has full access to. It should be no big deal to develop a mask that allows to search for accounts in the database with an amount of gold bigger than a set limit. This could even be expanded to detect other suspicious activity like collecting glitters over a longer period of time (couple of hours in one map without doing something else like shooting the one or other NPC/Player in between) or other foul activity (e. g. amazing fast throwing of amulets etc.)

This should really be no rocket science but could be quite effective. However keeping the game and especially the bazaar as it is also a major but very lucrative advantage for BP:
Leaving the bazaar broken forces us players to sooner or later spend dollars to make progress in ship building.
This feeling is enhanced by the latest upgrades BP implemented into the game (deck improvements) without trying to solve the most pressing game issues discussed above.

So to conclude, and as already stated above, BP has no real interest to fix the bazaar.

 

So you realized too, but... WE ALL DID! The problem is that we are still waiting for an explaination. If a dev passes by, we would like to have one.
