What the actual Heck?

I also had this error 3 times yesterday.
Where boat appears top left of map, cant move seachart or ship, has FoW over water, npcs can still hit you etc.

Cause:
From what I can tell, logging out while sunk (in nimbus map), will cause this error when you log back on. Or, I know if you had 28 design on because its now been removed from the skin list, it will cause this error.

Fix (for me - logged off when sunk):
1) log the boat off of the seachart.
(log on seachart so the screen looks like how you posted, press logout button in top right - if countdown doesnt reach 0 then youre being shot by npcs and will have to wait till your boat is sunk to try again)
2) close seachart
3) open seachart

 

Click the ship icon. You will see no image and a label identifier "0". Just change design and everything should be normal.

 

Tried that and failed, I was about to try Arkys suggestions but was on the water, thanks . Hopefully they fix all these bugs and give us free stuff for our pain and suffering and aggravation lol.

 

Can you log in to seachart? In GA2 we get instantly logged out. We do deserve something. I suggest firestorms and voodoo cannons for 5k pearls available for 1 year.
