    Does it really make a difference what design we use? I know some boats gave "increased" EP, shiney rewards, etc. All I seen in the faq is gems. Are the attributes of the boat still in effect? Thanks Ratt

    Now, only the gems mather- BP made it like that so we can use what ever design we want :)- just change gems around

    Ahoy

    Gems have been introduced into the game so that the abilities are transferable, this is mainly so any player can wear any design and be a strong boat. It doesn't really matter what design you wear as long as you set up the gems as you want. As the bonus you get from your Elite point ships are global and count to all skins. e.g. level 26 elite would grant you a 3% damage buff on any elite design regardless of gems or not.
