Will we be seeing any cheats getting banned this year ? if so will they just be getting a slap on the wrist ?
im intrested to hear others thoughts on this topic .

 

It is quite evident from the past performance of Bigpoint that the cheats are not being dealt with so far in the necessary way that they have promised, by deleting the cheats accounts..... Period!!

Anyone who would condone or try to defend the cheats would obviously indeed have very sinister hidden motives themselves. Therefore it would be safe to assume that the majority of players who are law abiding and honest will be left with little, or no alternative reasonable choice but to regrettably leave Seafight due to the extra costs of subsidising the cheats illegal activities, if this illicit activity is not acted upon swiftly and was allowed to remain unchecked?

This stealing is comparable and exactly the same in principle as shoplifting, (Theft!!).
It not only hikes the prices for the honest customers, it also constitutes the criminal offence of receiving goods or services by fraud. It destroys fairness and the otherwise good enjoyment of normal gameplay, any further prolonged activity would inevitably and very sadly lead to numerous honest players leaving this game never to return.

Then the cheats would have won at the expense of lost revenue to the game host company (Bigpoint) and all the honest customers who will leave, only to patronise other gaming companies.

 

C'mon the cheats are not like shoplifting as these do not involve material goods. I agree that bans should be issued, but I guess that they should first fixx the game. They should bring the powder damage back and do many other things.

Anyway don't waste your time as they won't do anything.

 

Services are considered under the law in just the same respects as tangible goods. Obtaining goods or services by deception......Theft is Theft!!

It is stated in the terms and agreements that at no time will a player use anything to take advantage in the game. This is by their rules and yet it is being allowed. There are websites on the internet that post cheats to Seafight. Why can't the folks in Big Point just look at those sites and do something to counter them? Puzzling to me why this hasn't been done.

 

Theft is theft, if they can't stomach banning people that have supported the game financially then they should just remove they items stolen and any benefits (all logged gains) that date back to the incident. Remove not just stolen items but the fruit from the forbidden tree so to speak. I heard that analogy from years of watching Law and Order. Lol. But this is serious, competition is difficult on any server because super small players are forced to fight with mega old accts. Add to that people using cheats to advance themselves and smooth the road to gain voodoo cannons or other even better equipment... It frustrates and will push new players away.

Just a thought.

 

with all the complaining that you all are doing is being bounced off deaf ears simply put you reference t&c agreement but if you also read it closely it also states that BP can and will reserve the right to change there mind or judgement as they see fit so i guess in saying that BP is the one that in fact is cheating the players as well and in the gaming industry it only takes 10% of the players paying to keep the game alive so 90% can complain with them not even batting an eye at the problems true fact so yes we as players are upset at the wrong doing being perpetrated on are game the fact is they just dont care there are still alot of us that have played for yrs and have heard the nonsense cover ups from are moderating crew but it still continues so honestly i see no real way to win they have lied cheated and stolen from us as players and how many times you see these so called Developing team take the time to respond but as we all log on daily we see there constant blunders with things going wrong with no remorse what so ever if they did they would be the ones in the forums or in global talking to the players not the mods covering up for them thats why they dont have the new blood of players starting this game there cheating us and not seeing they're honestly killing there own revenue stream with there own incompetence good luck to all who continue to play this game in the following new year but until they cleanup heres a long term players who when my supplys are out im dry docking this boat and im done good luck to all those who continue

 

i agree totally 100% ban all cheats but as monster said, they reserve right to change or do something whenever they want .

so i wouldnt be holding my breath for any prompt action from Bigpoint

 

We are aware of how incredibly frustrating this is, and while it may appear that nothing is being done, I can assure you that we are making progress.

I know that this may not be a fully satisfying answer but I am sure that you will understand that we cannot give out more detailed information.

However as this is not a discussion thread this post will now be closed.
