Exploit Use

Judging from a Forum post there appears to be various categories of Exploit Use. Apparently some will cause a permanent boat Ban and others will only cause a "Session" Ban. Is there any documentation about the definition of the various types of Bans, the length of Ban time for a given infraction, what players will receive them and what players will not, and who authorizes the Ban? For example: Does an unauthorized replication/modification, and use of existing SeaFight enhancements get the same Ban as the use of Third Party enhancement?

Any taking advantage of glitches, using exploits, or third party programs are all strictly prohibited and will result in a permanent ban.

 

This does not explain the Post response given earlier by a Forum Moderator. The question was posted by Crixus and the response was that there are Bans that will receive "Session" Bans. My question still stands, please elaborate.

 

Session bans are for things like username changes or harassing players or moderators. Things that are not allowed but unrelated to game play. These can result in session bans. I am unsure of which thread you are talking about. Can you please elaborate as well?
