Black screen

Soon after entering the sea chart my screen goes black. Is this the lag everybody is talking about, or do I have bigger issues? Also, Im not sure which is worse, people who pay for buffs and lose days due to lag, or people who dont pay and earn them slowly through time just to lose them to lag :/ 85/30594013

 

I had that a month or so back. As far as I could tell it was Flash related. The easy work around is to change to a different tab and then back to the sea tab again. That forces Flash to redraw the screen. The harder solution is to completely uninstall Flash, not just from your browser but from the whole PC. Then reinstall it. If that doesn't fix it, then you might need to create a new browser profile.

If the first trick doesn't do anything, then it is likely something different than the problem I had.

FYI, the 'lag' is when your movement and the NCP movement is not smooth, so your position stutters or freezes and then everything suddenly catches up again... only to then stutter and freeze again.
