How to up?

Hello, i have few questions.
At the firts, i have lvl 5 and all canons 50p, meh.
Im sailing across the maps and getting glitzs and shooting Sinclares, sometimes i found Adm Sinc, not even often. It get a long time than i get some bonus map. Im trying doing some events, have some loader canon castle and explosive alchemy skills. And question is, what now. And important is that I dont want to pay something, maybe that glitzs doubler looks fine, but i dont want to spend money on this game. Im trying to get some admilars from league, but it gets a few months 1 coin per month, nice but ok.
Next question, but maybe with same answer like on the previous.
How to get this pearls better, or how to get thats bonus maps. They are only from glitz i think, so i have to glitzing non-stop or? On the sunny map, to take down this ship is so slow and so uneffectivle, im shooting 3,8k with powder. Crystals would be fine for skills, but where to get them, sometimes in Aruba i think, on the market it will be auctioned for.. em, idk how much, 20m? more? realy dont know.
I would be glad if someone can explain me how to get better without paying, how to be better, do more dmg, or have i to only picking glitzs and sometimes shoot that adm sinclares?

 

Nuclear i will do my best to assist you as i am an old veteran player who has recently rejoined sea fight, although i have spent alot of money i also spend time and learnt the best ways to do things and i have first on experience on how to build a boat quickly. (very quickly)

Firstly you need to look at your skills, Make sure you have 7/7 Gunpowder flask and 7/7 on damage vs NPC.

Next you should think about castles, the most important castle is your reloaded which as your fairly new i would suggest getting it to level 5 and buying pearl powder monkeys. Next you will need Gunpowder flask and astrolabe to level 5 too.

Finally cannons, You seem to have all your cannons for now so concentrate on getting your cannon slots maxed.

Once you have completed all the above you will be shooting at-least 6500 with hollow ammunition.

If you have a few pounds to spare and time then another thing you can do is scrap all the above and go for speed skills, speed castles and shiny hunter skills along with a shiny doubler since this will make you lots of pearls quickly.

 

Nuclear-J4F, as Dredded has mentioned in the above post all of it is good advise, but rest assured that your building up your ship will be determined on the time played on your ship and whom you have readily available to help you level up whether it be a friend or two or more and or even joining a guild that helps players advance in their abilities to build up a ship or acquire the cannons, beams, castles and skills. There are so many aspects to this game that at any time it can and will be so overwhelming on where to start or in your case what to do next. Patience and time and a lot of determination on your part will pay off when your cannons shoot harder, when they and your ship move faster. Do the required pirate quests and tests for those pearls, do not feel that you need to participate in every event however I will say if there is one to do every time it would be the freedom event because they pay out in pearls. Your ammunition in conjunction with your cannons is very important to consider, everything on the water except some "Event" ships can be sunk with hollows, so, use hollows and save pearl ammo for special days or events, I do want to point out that you do not have to engage in every battle with another player/s, just take the sink and save that elite ammo and equipment.

My best advise for you is to build your ship's cannons slots and then concentrate on the castles, Gunpowder Flask, Astro-lab or Carpentry in the TOPCASTLE. Cannon Reloader, Centerboard, Adamantine Hull or Reinforce Hull in FORECASTLE. Get yourself Sternpost and Cannon Storage in AFTCASTLE. These castle expansions will get you on the right path, for the skills, well start with the basic set, and stay with Agwe and Ogoun for the time being. You are probably not going to see any significant change to the way your ship handles or on the cannons firing or anything else until you have nearly reached the max level in the castle and skills but you will have more confidence in your ships abilities as you continue to grow your ship.

And what you think, whats better, doing some new pirate lvl, for new quests, maps and pearls, or stay on this lvl 5. Adm Sindlacre I shooting whenever I see him, but its max 3x / day. That Caliclo Admiral, maybe i can shoot him, why not try. And its more funny doing some quests than only glitzing at lvl 5

 

In my opinion, there is nothing of worth for you to level up to at your current level. I would stay level 5 and make full use of the 1 hour noobie protection you get when you are sunk

Indeed, to make a couple hundred pearls you could shoot down some tentacles but don't collect the meat and I'll explain why, if you collect the meat you will be placed into a timer to enter the kraken map which you certainly will not survive but if you collect the meat after a server restart you will be fairly safe and be able to gather some precious EP, you will be in the line-up for the kraken but your number should be really low but when it's gets to 15 or more, log out and back in and you'll be free and clear but don't collect anymore meat.
