It's great that you guys fixed the arena point gains, however, the ranking itself didn't reset. So theres people sitting with millions of points where as people are now getting 1,3,5 points.

 

We´ve prepared a bonus code as a small compensation: ARENACIVILWAR

In my opinion the easiest way to get Coins for the Other side, is to play the Domination Arena. For each win you get 10 coins of the other side. So, to get 1000 Coins (for the skin), you need to play the Domination Arena 100 times, over the course of 14 days that is 7-8 a day, which is easily doable. Add to that you you will also get the other sides coins from the Event Chests, you should be able to reach 1000 of each type of Coin without switching sides.

I also believe in my opinion, that this event was not designed so that you would switch sides. Both sides Quests are the same just the respective NPCs are changed. The more Reputation you have, the better your rewards, which again leads me to believe that you are supposed to just pick a side and stick with it so to speak.

I personally really like this event, i'm making profit off of every ship, the Event Chests are great, even the Shipwrecks are good. The Domination Arena is fun when everyone plays; they should remove the loser bonus in my opinion, as that is why so many just join and go AFK.

I agree that the Beta Server needs to be reworked. It is apparently is used just to play the game for free and do no testing whatsoever by the players. Maybe disable the PvP and link the Beta Server to a players main account where completing X actions (e.g completing 5x Domination Arena, 10m damage on Walter Buckingham) etc, then rewards the players main account with items. That way you are guaranteed to get players to play and test the features you want testing, without people just using it as a free for all server not testing anything.

take away reward for loss in death arena . how any 1 ment 2 win when most team just in 4 free key n 1k pearls

 

If you take away the reward for loss from the domination arena, then nobody enters the arena, and you are stuck in the queue waiting for players to enter. Not good, if you need to earn 1000 coins of the opposite side.I like to play this arena map, but I don't want to spend most of my playing time waiting to enter, which is why I suggest that Seafight considers allowing players to switch sides at some point ( am currently writing in this forum as my ship is waiting to enter arena...).

 

Doing the same thing, they should change the ratio of conversion for the coins as well 10:1 seems excessive!

 

Yes once again the NPC sink you before you can repair. Some times you just keep popping up at them and sunk 6 or 7 times in a row. Not much fun. Good way to chase people away from game.

 

Small tip, from my experience, the event NPCs have low hit probability, so if you stack DODGE on your ship, you will be hit less.

Such as Dodge gem on ship and pet, equip Agility trainer, and ofcourse Commonwealth Guardian, that gives you up to 70 % dodge (lvl 3)

Well, what will happen is that most of us will end up being forced to pay for the coins we cannot earn.

sucks for the players like myself that don't have that kind of $$$, so I guess ill have to farm like crazy or hope for good pair ups in arena, but most top players go in arena together and hard for other low and mid game pirates.

This is because BigPoint are wanting players to level up. A lot of players like to be the big fish in a small pond but that isn't how it should be. Events like this give those players who can, an incentive to level up to where they should be. Take Baby Raid for example. The top BP player on our mega server has full lv4 Doomhammer cannons and 12b EP, yet he is level 15, not the way it should be.

Although I understand your point, the cannons (outside of this event) are only active in 21+ maps. This Lv15 player I was referring too has no disadvantage against a Lv30 player as they will only ever meet in maps where the additional cannons are not active. That's why events like this are brought in because it gives an advantage to those who have spent the time and effort levelling up, regardless of ship size. This will hopefully give players the incentive to level up rather than sit around Level 5 or 15 when they are easily strong enough to level up.

The introduction of Crowns as a currency for more than just levelling up I feel is a great idea because it gives those who levelled up the option to buy things that others cant. A good start!

Completely agree, its really difficult for F2P pirates just start out and get 1 or 2 shot it by these huge ships down in the lower maps.

 

I see the coin exchange rate in the Black Market has been reduced to 6 for 1. Still pitiful. How about 2 for 1 or even 1 for 1?
