Exiting/Stopping Event (Civil War)

    I got an answer in the game chat, but want to be 100% sure. (apparently impossible)
    > Is there any way to stop taking part in the event?

    -> I shot an (two) event NPC(s) to test the skull ammo that I was getting from the shipwrecks. Ever since I die every few minutes on all maps. It really ..is not good. I cant do anything anymore.

    They only way I could think of you to "stop" the event, and such not get shot by the NPCs. Is to shoot the NPC Colour which is shooting you, until you have 0 Reputation for both Regents Fleet and Daltons Armada, at that point you will not be on either side and as such no NPC should hit you.
