Devastator Cannons?

Are Devastator cannons a nickname for a particular cannon? I could not find them in the Seafight Bible index.

I can find info on 60 pounders, Voodoo and Doom Hammer cannons but not Devastators. Are they a new class of cannons? When I left the game I had a full compliment of level 5 55 pounders which were the best at the time and the 60s and Admirals had just come out.

Devastator cannons have been in the game for several months now. Here is some information;

Level 0​

Damage : +70 elite ammunition bonus
Reload time : 8 seconds
Cannon range: 30
Hit probability: 75%
Critical hit probability : 25%
Critical damage : 50%

Thank you! Are they the latest and best cannon now for all around use?

 

They are currently not the best cannon in the game as Doom hammer cannons at level 4 are very powerful. Although did you see i mentioned "Level 4" and the Devastator cannons are level 0.

Eventually in the future when levels are released for Devastator cannons they will be better than Doom hammer cannons.

Personally, i would get as many Devastator cannons as you possibly can
