Ship Speed

    Hi there matey,

    I noticed you had written a question about how to increase speed on your ship, but was closed before you could get a proper response. I've put below a list of all the factors that contribute towards your speed.

    Solid Values
    Wind At Your Back (Skill) - +75 Speed
    Shipwright Schematics (Castle) - +53 Speed
    Centreboard (Castle) - +80 Speed
    Sternpost (Castle) - +90 Speed
    Burmuda Sail x3 (Equipment) - 3 x 53 = +159 Speed
    Ship Gem - +49 Speed
    Figurehead (High BP Rank) - +40 Speed - Nobody has managed to reach this rank yet.

    % Increases
    Pumpkin Power - 35% - 10 Seconds
    Speed Crystal - 25% - 10 Seconds (Cannot be used in conjunction with Pumpkin Power)
    Queen's Legacy - 10%
    Hour Glass - 10% - 30 Minutes
    Light of Tortuga - 10% - 1 Hour (or until broken)


    As far as I believe, these are all of the speed factors in the game.

    Solid Value Additions/Corrections:
    Elite Ship has a starting base of 385 Speed.
    You can have 4 Sails on if you have the Shipwrights Schematics, totalling 212 Speed (I noticed you mentioned it separately however I think it just needed more clarification, that it isn't actually the castle what gives you the speed)
    Level 2 Ships Pilot gives 40 Speed.
    The Figurehead is not available from a High BP Rank.

    % Increase Corrections:
    Light of Tortuga is 15% Speed
    Hourglass is 20% Speed

    Where is the Figurehead available from? When we saw the rewards it looked like a rank around 700k, couldn't find the actual thread to clarify though.

    Nevermind, ignore that, I thought it was the other figurehead. You get the Speed Figurehead; Thetis, from reaching Rank 40.
