    if someone donates pearls into our guilds treasury can the owner send them to someone else? or can you only do this with gold?

    Only Gold can be paid out to members. When Pearls are donated they remain in the guild until they are spent on Guild Towers (on a Guild Island).

    so everyone in my guild is pretty new to the game so it would be pointless for us to donate any spare pearls? because we would probably never get an island lol

    Yeah, it's very very unlikely you'd get an island if all your members are new to the game, and in my opinion wouldn't be the best way to spend your hard-earned pearls anyway.
