    What Pirate level do you need to be at for him to activate the extra 50 cannon slots?

    Hello The Defiant

    There is no level requirement for activating Level 3 Commonwealth Sellsword if you have purchased it from payment package, VIP market, etc.

    On your Sea Chart toolbar click Crew

    Under Commonwealth officer section click on your Commonwealth Sellsword

    There is also a chance of obtaining Level 3 Commonwealth Sellsword from boarding HRMA Triumph, Admiral that spawns in 21-25 Maps.
