Best Cannons/Pearl Ammo ELP

    Are the best cannons to get an ELP Bonus shooting Pearl ammo the Devastator Cannons?

    I was reading the cannon comparisons in the SF Bible and hope I understood this correctly.

    Ahoy

    Best cannons to collect Elite Points (ELP from now on) are Admiral's cannons. Reason behind that is, because of their special ELP Bonus. You get 1 ELP per any cannonball (including gold ammunition) and also 1 more ELP if you shoot Elite Ammunition. So if you shoot Pearl ammunition from Admiral's cannons you get 2 ELP bonus, while most of other cannons give you only 1 ELP per Pearl cannonball.

    Getting more ELP also depends on:
    • Figurehead Rán
    • Ship Special Gem "Tiger Eye"
    • Castle "Ship's bell"
    • Skill points on "Elite Legacy"
    • Obedience Trainer
    • ELP Booster

    The +2 Gold Ammunition Bonus is 2 Damage per cannon when using Gold Ammo.
    The +5 Elite Ammunition Bonus is 5 Damage per cannon when using Elite Ammo.

    For example, if you had 100 Cannons and used Elite Ammo you would hit 500 Damage more, if you used Gold Ammo you would hit 200 Damage more.

    Some cannons have neither of these bonuses, some cannons have higher values of these bonuses, for example, a Level 4 Doomhammer is 135 Elite Ammo Bonus per cannon.
