Is there a link that simply explauns this. How long before diminshing returns starts to reduce rewards? How long until rewards are back to original setting? I may play up to 4-5 hours om a sitting - how does this affect me?

 

From the Seafight Bible:

Diminishing Returns is a feature within Seafight which adjusts the returns or rewards players receive based on how long they have been online.

Quite simply, the longer the player is online, the fewer rewards they will get. Do not worry though, players who play for a "normal amount of time" will not be affected by this system, in fact, they will get increased rewards for a small period!

If you are being affected by the Diminishing Returns, you shall have the following icon in your status bar, and your logbook entries will also say (Correction: %), which represents how much you are gaining or losing.


How it works:

When a player logs in, they will gain 10% additional rewards for a limited period.

Once this period has ended, the player will then continue to get their regular rewards while they are playing a normal amount of time.

As the player starts to enter the abnormal amount of play time, their rewards shall gradually begin to reduce. The longer they continue to play, the more significant the reduction of the rewards.

Offline times also play a role in this system, while you are offline your rewards gradually increase again.

Who and what is affected:

At the moment, only players on Global Europe 7 Global America 3 are affected, and only their Pearl, Crown, Experience Point and Elite Point rewards are adjusted.

How long is a normal amount of time?

 

I believe it is equal to the time spent playing but I know it starts resetting after an hour.

There's no official number but from anecdotal experience you have to play like 8+ hours no break before it goes negative, sure it impacts those who play all day non stop but if you're normal just enjoy the hour of +10% and your good sleeping pattern

Unfortunately, we are unable to issue any further information than what has been posted in the FAQ; exact figures will not be released, however, as previously mentioned honest players should not be negatively effected by this system, other than the initial 10% bonus!

BP still putting the cart before the horse,delete the bots not the fair players.

 

most bots get island discount, another 10% free from BP, they must think everyday is christmas!
Get rid of Island discount, implement 3rd party bot banning system (game design and systems architecture means BP cant detect bots)

 

soo manny event`s was winn by bot`s
pls start to redistribute the rewards to the fair players
BP will never stop bot`s if they dont cut the rewards they winn by boting
