Didn't BP fix it a long time ago so you wouldn't spawn near a tower?

    Hello Pirate,

I believe it was npcs that do not spawn near the towers. Players will spawn randomly anywhere in the map.

I remember this as well and for the most part it is true.

Improvement: NPCs, boxes, players and so on don´t “spawn” in guild tower range anymore.

Before this fix, spawning in range of an island tower was a common thing, now it is very rare. I think that its possible that the 'exclusion zone' for spawning was based on the previous range of the towers and that when they increased the range they didn't increase the zone. This means there is still a small area that you can spawn that isn't quite far enough away from the island so you get hit.

The above is my theory based only on empirical data.

40/41890619. I'd say it's happened a few times in the last month so certainly not as bad as before, but it's happening again.
