    Been away from the game for a long time and a lot has changed so apologies in advance for the question. If you have enough World, Pain, Fire, Doom, Dev cannons, is there any point hanging onto Lvl 60's, Admiral, Voodoo, Rift cannons? Thanks in advance.

    Yes.

    Admiral cannons are good for elp points in the league system.
    Rift cannons are used to upgrade lvl 5 pain bringers into level 6

    I'm sorry, I'm still a tad befuddled, under what circumstances would you rather load your Admiral cannons to gain ELP rather than your Lvl 4 Pain or World cannons? In quests or bonus maps?

    Doing the capricornus bonus map would be the only reason to use admiral with elite ammo since quite a lot of NPCs has 100k hp or less which would be around 2 shots depending on how much you damage, you could use it in virgo too but using gold ammo would probably be the best

    as above in the scrolls - consider going to safe haven above 1 map and start quests again as they re-booted a little while back and the crystal rewards have been included amongst these & certain quests factor in completion of these quests at a higher level even though you can access maps. Look at quest ship in 1 map that allows you to collect tentacles as part of its quests; after a certain number of its quests grants you shark map that's good to enter to repair rather than looking to safe havens

    Hello @capetown1,

    Theres no dumb questions. Never.
    Like ppl already told you. Use Admiral cannons for bonus maps to gain more ELP/EXP - but in my oponion it is only needed till you get yourself into Manta League (for max HP,VP and damage gain from it). For events / shoting npc's / players you should use best cannons you've got.

    I follow this simple rule and it works fine with me:

    Pains lvl 3-6 -> Worldbreakers -> Doomhammers -> Devastators

    One more thing, keep your firestorms as they are important for you when you want to get some event NPCs for most damage.
    Here is the link to all kind of cannons with you may find usefull Cannons
    You can also take a look at Damage Calculator made by our fellow pirate @HMS-dozza -> Damage Calculator

    Hey Kruchy! I have a quick question for you on this topic (and I appreciate all that you contribute to this forum). When you said this:

    I follow this simple rule and it works fine with me:

    Pains lvl 3-6 -> Worldbreakers -> Doomhammers -> Devastators

    Now..are you saying this is your personal order of preference in cannons? If so, I thought the Worldbreakers at Level 3 (and as they become available for higher level upgrades) would be your top pick. If you prefer the Pains level 3-6 over those, may I ask why? (I'm still trying to learn too)!:)

    Since he hasn't replied yet I could give you some information of what order you should use every cannon for.
    1. Painbringer lvl 6 deals 231 elite damage and reloads 6,4 secs, though they are hard to get since you need rift cannons
    2. Worldbreaker lvl 3 deals 221 elite damage, reload 6.6 secs
    3. Painbringer lvl 5 it deals 200 elite damage, reload 6.5 secs.
    4. Worldbreaker lvl 2 it deals 204 elite damage, reload 6.7 secs (even tho it deals more damage than pain lvl 5 it reloads 0.2 secs slower so pain lvl 5 wins there)
    5. Painbringer lvl 4 deals 170 elite damage, reload 6.6 secs
    6. Worldbreaker lvl 1 deals 181 elite damage, reload 6.8 secs (it's a close one to pain lvl 4 but the 0,2 seconds quicker reload time probably gives pain lvl 4 the upper hands, but against NPC you could go for breaker before pain)
    7. Worldbreaker lvl 0 deals 170 elite damage, reload 6.9
    8. Painbringer lvl 3 deals 144 elite damage so always go for breaker lvl 0 if it's the worst cannon on the ship
    If you don't have enough pain and breakers for your ship just go for doomhammers
    Hope this helps :)

    Hey @The*Defiant ,

    @capetown1 told us " Been away from the game for a long time " , I took as guaranteed that he knows how painbringer works, but due to his recent comeback i did assume that he may not know much about worldbreakers, and may not have em at lvl 3 already. Thats why I put em in this order. Of course like explained by @StarLightS lvl 3+ worlds are better than painbringers 0-4

    Hey djt182, that advice about the Sharkfang Bay map has been eye opening. I'd never heard of it, took a few days and, now, as you say, it's awesome to rest up in and I've made some serious progress in Vovoi. Thanks m8, much appreciated.
