Staking hours

they should have a staking hours or maps on game, so for instance come midnight on UK server when most players should be sleeping they should set it that overnight if you get capped and sunk you loose 10% of your crowns/pearls/yulong coins. think this would make the game more interesting. maybe discourage bots to play overnight in the hours that should be quiet

i like the cap idea. but there would have to be a limit on how many times it could be done.

Also, what determines "most players should be sleeping" how would it be fair for people who work nights and then losing 10% of there loot just because they play during the night instead of the day?

Half decent idea but too many things that could make it bad

 

i agree, thats why i think certain maps, and the maps to be picked at random each night, so for instance if a bots in then tough luck

 

it also brings the problem of crowns/yulong trading / selling.

This could be abused so that for e.g, a strong maxed ship with 10mil crowns, could take all the pirates off and let a smaller ship cap them meaning they get 1mil crowns for a cap... for a small ship 1mil crowns could upgrade alot.

Also it would only benefit a select few players who sail at night to cap these players, it would probably benefit bots more as bots can attack and board.. so they would just chase and board each other lol

 

Two words; 'Time Zones'. Not everyone on a server is in the same time zone as the server. I know I'm not even close.

one good idea is to have moderators keep chating to players that appear to be online ... whoever don't answer the random questions gets a ban until 2031. Thats the way to stop bot, IF you wanna stop this.
Ofcaurse the way to bypass this is to have chat ban all the time ... i will think a solution for this

 

That won't work either. There is no requirement to have your Chat window open and no requirement to pay any attention to it if it is open. I almost never look at Chat as its usually full of noise.

unfortunatly i have a chat ban what was not ment to be, and the seccond surprise is that its not even a regular chat ban, but a bug in their system that provides the chat so they cant even find my chat "ban" like a few dosen of other players.

some of us work in the evenings and play at night... some just have a messed up sleep rhythm, some play at night to play at all.
Not a good system due to quest givers / missions that have to be played in like all maps

 

why not ping the player and see if they respond?

 

yeah.... nope.... aint gonna work...and bp wil NEVER accept that because it's a way to sink your own main ship with a secondary to gain fast yulong/crowns/pearls... so it is a way people will get a second ship very far very fast.. so i am 200% shure they will not do it...

crowns/yulong/pearls are payment thingies too so they prolly cant even do that to just "vanish" it into thin air due to restrictions i guess.
