What is a good Graphics card and Processer to run seafight with less lag? My lag is horrible when i come into a large group while fighting. I know its my computer and not seafight. I do know that the game its self lags on occasion but i lag every time i roll into a large group of boats. Thank you for any info.

i have i9 9900k and rtx 2080 super... still lags like crazy when there are alot of boats on screen (when shooting event admirals or something like that)... so i dont think there is anything you can do about lags with large amount of boats on screen... maybe when unity launcher will be finished, it might be different story..

i run an i9 9900k with a 3080 and 64gb of ram i dont seem to get much lag at all apart from when servers are lagging and usually sit at 50 fps with around 40 ships on screen from what i found gpu doesnt do much for the game its more processor and ram

    ●ǺLIککØп-BЯ●,
    u can use such CPU's:
    • i9-9900k(s)
    • i9-10900k
    • 9-11900k (newest CPU, and first Intel Release of PCI-Express 4.0)
unfortunately the prices are around 400-500$. Plus Motherboard, 16 GB Ram (DDR-4), and a Graphic-Card u are quick of a total of 1.200$ and more.

Nearly the same performance for Seafight achieve an older (special) CPU with the name:
    • i7-5775C
for around 100$ (second hand) and a suitable Motherboard Z97 for around also 100$.
Plus 16GB Ram (DDR3), and for example a GTX 1060ti (it is absolute enough for Seafight) u are together by around 400-500$.
    Why is the i7-5775C special?
Because this CPU is the only one (for Desktop-PC) with a large and very fast (100GB/s Bandwidth) L4 Cache of 128MB.
For example DDR-4 4000Mhz have around 50GB/s Bandwidth.
This L4 Cache of the i7-5775C is a very fast Buffer/Cache between your L1-L3 CPU-Cache and your Ram.

    as LONDON-LOON wrote:
is the CPU and Ram the most important parts for "Flash-Lag-Free" Seafight. Against Server-Lags u can't do nothing.

This *used* to be the standard advice we were told for lag. You might try it and see if it helps: Click on the "Options" icon at the upper right of your Seachart. Click on the far right "Graphics" tab. Set "Display details" to "low". Also be sure that your "Maximum FPS" is around 30 or less. Click on "Animation" and check the box that says "Boost". (These changes will not allow you to see anyone's volleys but your own). It's worth a try!
