Feedback Debuff for Bot Using

I Haven't seen one player on my server yet, and it's loaded with bots. I checked on every bot that has been running for the last year and not one of them have the debuff.

Either they are picking a few out of hundreds to try and scare other bots, ignoring certain servers or it's just a PR stunt.

BP needs a better system to detect all of them and make the debuff much harsher and longer duration.

 

The threat of a lawsuit from one player is worthless. You would have to go to Germany to their court system, since in order to play Seafight, they put that in their agreements. Also, Bigpoint owns your boat(s). You do not. That is why you are not supposed to sell them or let anyone else play on them. Lastly, they own the servers and employ the programmers. All they have to do realistically - agreement or no agreement - is close your account(s) at their discretion. You have no recourse. Unless you are a multi-millionaire and wish to employ an army of lawyers, spend tens of thousands of dollars, challenge Bigpoint (a large corporation owned by another very large corporation) - all to get back your boat(s). No one in their sane mind would fool with such nonsense.

-95% Speed



If this is the debuff seems ok but now using in PVE to return to normal stats so not effecting them. Seems only if PVP or on PVP servers whoopsie to funny need to double it to really punish them they just farm for 3 days with exploit on for PVE.

They probably laughing at them like that flag debuff icon bothers them that's funny that want stop them deleted accounts want either they just start new ones and probably still making free stuff with fiddler again.

 

Why not just get the banwave system back on track? Many here in the comments who comment and like this new ban system are users of bot, still they expresses that they want bot removed. What's not too understand, as long as you continue to allow bot be used without special punishment than a kindergarden regime roules as punishment, then people will continue to use bot,

with or without your new system. Introduce banwave, warning 3 days ban for first use, 2 weeks for 2nd time warning and last time

permanent.

I don’t know about you but I never have or would I use a bot what’s the point in having a system play the game for you, since starting an account to play in the 1st place. To use a war bot to fight for you because don’t like losing and ego can’t take losing to a legit account not using exploits really it’s a game.

 

Your point: the bot-builders are always 3 steps ahead. And an excellent point it is! Well stated pirate! (Reminds me over my 12 years of playing Seafight of hearing about: unlimited skills, huge amounts of free shrapnel ammo, unlimited cannons....and the list goes on... and on... and on..)

 

As one player in this thread previously said or alluded to, I am pretty sure I have seen one particular player's (name) posting - who is a botter - in this very thread!!!!!! Oh yes - he is all "against bots", etc. Talk about a hypocrite/liar! That takes a lot of gall to do that. What a pitiful excuse for a human being (in my opinion). Furthermore, as I have said before, using bots is like me playing a buddy in 1 vs 1 street basketball and right after we start and he is whipping my rear, I get some NBA All-Star to take my place and smoke him. Now...do you think I won? Did I win? NO! (I'll never understand people buying/using bots, creating zero-day computer viruses, and other evil deeds).

 

Found 2 debuffed players tonight in the same Map. It was nice to blow them away after taking their pictures and redacting their names and IDs (as BP insists). That said, both boats were in the same guild (no shocker), BUT 3 other bot boats (different guilds) were sailing along in the same map like normal - no debuff - BP's detection system failed as far as catching them ! I know - I'm chaining them! (That's a 2/5 or 40% effectiveness rating for BP based on my small sample...not good):

i have seen 2 players with a debuff, they just play bonusmaps now, one of them keeps shooting more than 700 mil exp every day. where is the punishment? you are rewarding them. bigpoint, you are the joke!!!

3 days is a joke, every additional infraction should be longer than the prior. Double each time.

 

When are they going to do a geo IP check and a vpn check to catch the players paying turkish prices?
For those who dont know Turkish prices are cheap compared to what normal players pay, they can buy the top package twice for what a normal player pays for the smallest package. Same server should be same price!

 

Now you know they will never do this people that cheat because they feel it's their right to do it, you know how immoral people are their parents taught them these things to them.

You cant just strip the cheaters boats cause then theyd just quite the game. After years of work. I think the debuff should last a little longer so they start losing ranks, cant profit, no building up or upgrading in any way shape or for ect. Now the ones who are caught definitely take all rewards and drink from them during the event that will change a lot of their minds but a lot of cheaters do still spend money
