  1. After kicking me out of the forums for more than 2 weeks because I said you mods were 'micro-managing' the forums for deleting posts that had interesting and active conversations going...I will refer back to some of your typical 'non-answers' to my statements regarding the ongoing game issues;
Missing sound is a known issue and our developers are currently working on it.

Ya????? working their little buts off, I imagine!

Unfortunately, I am unable to provide you with the exact time and date as of when it will be fixed.

Really? You can't tell me how long it is going to take...oh, wait, I forgot, you can't actually tell me or do anything of real value regarding the game platform.

"Ship rising / disappearing" effect takes place when npc / player have just spawned, came to your view or got sunk.

No, no, no...completely wrong answer to a completely different issue...making believe you are addressing issues is not the way to resolve problems...(just a personal suggestion). I guess my explanation of the problem was above your pay grade, eh?

There is a cool-down on repair function after being attacted / sunk by other player or npc.

If there is, indeed, a cool down...why the h**** does the rep button light up???

Your forum logout issue can be caused by:
    • clearing your cache
    • your browser being outdated

My cash is cleared automatically every day...AND, I am always running the most current browser available. (hint...more non-answers to imagined problems...)
If you will encounter any further technical issue with the forum please create a new post in Technical Issues section.

Please leave your feedback regarding the game in the General Feedback section of the forum.

Most likely, you will feel the pressure of offence again and ban me from the forums....ICCL! :p

i think players like you give too much rubbish to the hard working mods, remember mods dont work from the bp offices but their own homes and can only give the information they have ,

  3. Right...and my question has always been, because the mods can only offer the same rubbish that BP spews out, what is their motivation for working at all? I have no problem with them personally, but I complain because of the complete lack of their ability to do anything other than to 'cut and paste' the same rote answers that support gives us. :this will be forwarded to the developers!: That, in my opinion, is simply the 'deepest pile of rubbish' (using your terminology) and deflection from the actual issues facing the game development possible. Why not have a so-called 'developer' answer some of these questions rather than give the mods a platform that BEGS for criticism? In my experience, the mods are polite and knowlegable, but they have such limited ablity to provide anything useful that it is, once again, rubbish. I guess it is nice for some, very simple, questions, that the mods are here....Like, "where is the bathroom?", but if you ask them how to fix the leak, forget it!

In all my years of playing (10+), the devs have never once replied to any forum posts.
We ask questions, the mods ask the devs, the devs refuse to answer.

    Hello,

Firstly, regarding your removal from the forums. You have agreed to the Terms and Conditions which you have broken over a multitude of posts so a punishment was appropriately applied.

Secondly, you are correct MODs are here to keep track of the forum and to ensure that every issue pointed out is being forwarded higher to be resolved.

The sound issue as well as many other has been known for some time and all relevant information has been forwarded onto the developers.

When such issue is being fixed we always inform all players about that in Patchday notes thread.

Any unhappiness with issues not being fixed can be always voiced in the general discussions section of the forum or forwarded straight onto Support.

Furthermore the issue with disappearing ships, I can only go by what you have said if this is a different issue please don't hesitate to attach print screens videos or anything that could help us assist you.

I'm not going over the rep button again as I understand all players frustration but to assure you all relevant information's is forwarded onto the developers for refinement.

The issue with your forum automatically logging out is an unknown issue that personally I haven't experienced and we had no further reports of.

Please again take a print screen, video of it happening and send it directly to the support team for further investigation.

Finally, please try to understand that us moderators are players as well, who volunteer our time to help others and to improve the experience of players.

If you are unhappy with my or any other moderator performance or action/replies given please do not hesitate to bring this to Support attention.

So when you refer to 'above my pay grade' - We are not paid and we do this of our free will.

    Rymar

  6. Exactly my point!

  7. Rymar....I will provide a similar feedback as the one that you have provided to me. Your paygrade was a reference to your not having the ablity (or the slightest clue as to how) to change anything in the game platfrom itself. In effect, you are simply a 'talking head' havng your strings being pulled and manupulated by the 'developers' who so graciously (or ingraciously) allow you to voice your opinions and (at times) assistance to other players. This, I assure you, is not any sort of reflection upon you personally (although I question as to why anyone would do what you do unless you are under the threat of bodily harm to yourself or your driect family). A lot of what I write might seem as if I am attacking you personally, and I assure you that I am not, and if I have come across as doing this I offer you my humble apology. "Above your pay grade' simply put, means you are incapable of assisting me (and others) with any of the concerns I often bring up. I can be a sarcastic snot. Such is life, eh?

Writing support is tantemount to asking to win the lottery.. You can ask until you are blue in the face and the answer/result will always be a sharp deflection as to any responcibility or ablity....Just like you! Why waste time writig to support when I can actively harrass you? (Although I send support the same request twice a day, every day) just for kicks. You know...I use the same tactics you and supprort use...'copy and paste!' :p

I do appreciate your sense of volunteerism...I only suggest you use your vast desire to assist us humans by directing it elsewhere where you can actually help people. It is an admirable thing to help people.... I am impressed with your desire, but not your choice of NPOs/chairitys. harhar

Perhaps the forum issue was a glich in the matrix. It would be impossible to take a screen shot of something that isn't there, right? Was this a sarcastic suggestion just to rub my nose in my own medicine?

I did not even mention ships dissapearing. If you had not closed my thread, I could show you exactly what I said...which, if I remember correctly, was something like 'ships magically rise to the surface and slide in one direction like a novice hockey player. (translated.. the ships do not point in the direction they are going...and 'slide' backwards, sideways, upside down (ok...not upside down) but I had to use the vague reference to Led Zeppelin again. Happened to me again recently...a screen shot would not capture it, since it has to do with movement, and to be ready to capture it with video would be a chancy endevour at best.

Making inane comments like, 'you have agreed to the terms and conditions'....is one of the reasons I choose to continue using my profound sarcastic voice with you....what sheet can you come up with next? That one was on the pathetic side.

So... I get where you are coming from.. I don't get why. I get that you are not able to do anything about solving game issues. I get that you do try to help players who are clueless and/or won't take the time to read the explanations in the index. Once again...my apolgies for attacking the messenger, but if you...as I have often suggested, pass a message along to the 'developers' that they should participate, on occasion, in the forums, I will happily vent my frustrations on them. :)

I am sorry that I have been unable to assist you with your issues as if I was a developer as you already know from my previous post i am a player like you.

I volunteer to do this because I believe that helping where I can help improves this platform for all players.

I fully understand that you voice your opinions on here to try to get things across but I can assure you this is not the case.

Anything that is found relevant is forwarded and becomes the responsibility of developers to decide on how to fix the issue.

I do not believe that you are attacking me but you are causing arguments about and for moderators alike.

I am here simply to assist where I can and forward issues onto the developers.

I assure you that all issues we have forwarded have been resolved over time.

Writing to Support is a means to contacting Bigpoint developers.

How you get your "kicks in" is your choice but if you continue to break forum rules this will only lead to further sanction.

I thank you for your praise, I am enjoying helping all the players that come to the forum for assistance and I plan to continue to do so as long as I am able to assist and shall look forward to it.

Furthermore the issue with your forum was covered but I understand that these things can be random and are hard to catch, but if it is a consistent problem then just record a short video while doing some posts should be enough to help technical support figure out the issue.

With what you have said about ships not pointing in the correct direction as to where they are moving this is a known issue and it has been forwarded and will be dealt with in time and so from now on refer to the patchday notes, each time there is an update to see when it is fixed

You may speak to me however you like as long as you are within the forum rules and regulations, and adhering the forum policy then I will answer however I feel appropriate.

The idea behind the forum is for keeping all seafight assistance for the players by the players such as it has been for the last 15 years and if you have any suggestion which it seems you do then you can suggest these things appropriately in the Ideas & Suggestions corner, and they will be seen.

Finally, for your future posts venting your frustrations about the seafight moderator team I advise that you go through Support.

This thread should now be closed.

    Rymar
