    Upon testing I've noticed that the rewards are given for the player who caused most damage.

    From event FAQ

    Shipwrecks

    The shipwrecks must be shot with Harpoons. Items such as Worldbreaker cannon level 0, Heartbreaker Ammunition and Crystals can be obtained if you make most damage!

    Kinda sucks cause people can't help you kill them much but is helpful to keep from getting stolen.

    Totally sucks because some people shooting 1505 literally just two shot them leaving them just under the half hp mark and leave, in area where usual monster are 20k waiting for people doing their seasons coins to actualyl finish them for them. Great fun, really need a timer on those.
