Defiant yes I have got 1 from a Floe on day one of this event:)
Hopefully, it will stay in the rack beyond the event like the original Winter Map did - but would be nice for a confirmation from the Forum Mod - SOON!o_O

    Ahoy,

Winter Maps can only be gained from Ice Floes during this event, as stated by your fellow pirates.

I am confused as to what your reply means. With all due respect, no one asked if they come from ice floes (that I can see in this thread). They asked if you can do them later at their own leisure. (I remember the ones from back in 2009 were just like normal Scroll Maps and, once obtained, remained in your account until you wanted to do them, and were not required to be done before the Event ended). I just asked if anyone had gotten one yet, (via ice floes). So the question is: can we do them 6 to 12 to 24 months from now, for example, or like "ice ammo", do they disappear from your account when this Event ends?

you don't follow the changes Swift made!
He move your comment in a new thread from the one you posted at!
    Winter maps
DOES NOT disappear after winter event and you CAN do them even after 5 -10 months!

Thanks mate...Yes....I found it had been moved. While people bot non-stop and violate the TOS of Seafight, I am "kept in line" because i "highjacked a thread" in Forum? (My question was a quick one and it seemed EFFICIENT to me to do it in the way I did it. Oh well).

    Ahoy,

While you may not like or agree with the forum rules, or in your opinion that other rules in game are not enforced, this does not mean that the forum rules should not be enforced also. As you can see from the text by my name or my forum icon I am a Board Admin, therefore my area of responsibility is the Board, and I will follow and enforce the rules and guidelines laid out to me and you.

I would also like to mention that you were not being "kept in line", if you were you would have received a forum warning or a comment informing you, it was more efficient for me to simply move your post and the related responses to your post into a new thread.

Your post was moved because it was a different question than the question being asked in the opening post of the thread; we keep questions separate not only for moderators to keep track easier but for players to find information on the forum easier, especially when there are other users replying to your query.

In regards to your first post about my comment being unrelated, you had asked in your post if anyone had received one; which I took as meaning you had not - thus I wanted to inform you of where these can be found during this event. Apologies if you found this unhelpful.

However, as you can see from the replies of other users that winter maps have been received, and to prevent this thread from escalating into a discussion thread regarding the board rules or a moderators actions I shall now close this thread.

As always, if you do not agree with a moderator or the actions performed by the moderator, you are more than happy to voice your concerns to Seafight Support who shall investigate.

    Happy Sailing!
