Best Starter Castles

What are the best 3-5 castles to get as a start? Also, when is next castle days? Is it worth waiting for this?

 

Cannon loader, adamantine hull, Sternpost, centreboard, carpentry expertise, astrolabe, voodoo mirage, Cannon storage and shipwright's schematics

This for cannons, hit probability, npc damage reduction (to better farm pearls and that), speed (to find relevant npc's quicker) and to repair as fast as possible.

Last castle days was a month or 2 ago, we arn't due another, for these castles I wouldnt wait for it anyway and then the remaining less important castles can be done on castle days when it does arrive and the cost is cheaper

 

Thank you for the list, it gives me something to work towards. Right now I can farm 500-600k pearls a day without much issue, not sure if I need to spend them to help with farming. At this point I am so far behind that I can not fight many players anyway and 2 castles aren't going to change that. Its a hard decision to make, if I spend them I am sure we will get a castle day tomorrow, haha.

Your thread has been moved into the correct section of the forum.

Start with Cannon Loader castle, that's one of the most important castles within the game.

When your Cannon Loader is completed (or at least at 8/10) move forward to defensive castles (Voodoo Mirage, Adamantine Hull) to boost your dodge/damage prevention against NPCs / players.

After that focus on your firepower (Ferocious Bookkeeper, Military Expert, Cannon Storage, Astrolabe, Gunpowder Flask) to increase the damage caused by your ammunition / cannons.
