Gotcha Buff

Since the merger I've seen a lot of players with what I think is the Gotcha buff (white skull on a red background). Some of them also have numbers on them and those numbers change. If it is the Gotcha, then it doesn't seem to be working. These ships still move fast, shoot fast, shoot hard, and take low damage.

I've also seen one that looks like crossed swords in red. What is this?

Is there a FAQ page for these buffs? What do the numbers mean?

The icon you've seen was a crystal skull counter from Voodoo Hunt event.

Once a player purchased payment package which contain Shrunken Head they gained ability to obtain Crystal Skulls from the event NPCs.

The number above that skull displayed number of Crystal Skulls owned by player.

This was not the Gotcha! de-buff (Gotcha! looks like that -> )

Yesterday we had to disable the PvP aspect of the game for the newly merged Ultra Server.

However players could still activate their PvP if they wanted (Crossed Swords in red simply shows that this player have his PvP activate).

Yes, thank you Rymar that does explain it. I thought the buff didn't look quite right for Gotcha, but I couldn't think of any other explanation. Strange that before the Merge, I only saw one player with that buff, but after it was almost half the players. I guess my server didn't have a lot of people with the shrunken head.

I also asked if there was a FAQ for these buffs. Do you know if there is one?

The Peace event was for a short time on the first night of the merge and as such, it worked similar to PvE. As stated by Rymar it could be activated and deactivated but is no longer a feature on the water.

As for the shrunken head icon.

This was left over from the Voodoo Hunt Event and currently has no significance in the game right now and will be resolved in the future.

I had found the FAQ on the regular buffs, but since none of these were in it, I was asking if there was a separate FAQ. I see now that there there isn't. The links to the announcements and notes were helpful.
