We think alike, mate! I looked it up as well. Actually, I take issue with the comments she made, since being multilingual is no excuse for poor grammar, spelling, and punctuation in any language. The Chat box is constantly full of illiterates. It makes me worry that America has "dumbed-down" our educational system, especially where English is concerned!

As for america of the north, they have way to many tongues to speak in, but choose the language of their conquerers! that be ye old english. who is lili? is this some new SF monitor or handler?!? hmm, i smell shark bait!

 

I think you will find that Spanish is the first language now in the US but most Spanish speakers are bilingual so English is the most spoken. The English language is the most evolved language in the world and is changing all the time and has assimilated many others like Latin French and German to but name a few, it is diverse and easily taught and because of the internet is now the go to language off the world. I hope that help's.
