What is this New Nutty Thing used in PvP?

A player I just fought had a bell sounding and it seemed like he vanished below the surface and then came back up. This went on for several battles. (Does this buff ever run out)?? What is it? I assumed it was a new addition to the League of Captains. But after perusing that section of the SF Bible, I can't find it. I did manage to sink him, but I don't care for this weirdness.

The sound effect you just heard was Sonar (submarine special ability) or Pressure Cooker action item being used which work exactly as Sonar.

If a player hidden himself - that's also submarine ability - that's Stealth mode which allow submarines to become invisible for a short period of time.

Thank you, Rymar. I am surprised the subs are gotten this good this fast. And I don't agree with offering super-starter packs to noobs. It greatly diminishes all of the time and effort many of us have put into our boats. But as with everything in Seafight, that's the way it sails.
