What to do with Crystals?

I've topped up all of the skills (thanks to the Earth Golems ). So now what can I do with crystals?

 

save them im sure at some point they will add more skills as this is an overdue ''improvement'' to the game hope your reading this rymar

Correct! There are Submarine Skills same as we have here on the surface.

Sigh. I really don't want to be forced into playing Atlantis, but since the developers don't seem to want to keep it separate, I'm being forced into it.

Are there any other (current) things crystals can be used for?

 

Maybe a necklace? P.S. You can stay on the surface in Safe Haven and change your setup to your sub. Then open your castle and you can see the choices for Atlantis without going there. Works for everything.

P.P.S. And I forgot to mention: Choose the Atlantis castle slots you open **wisely**. They start getting very expensive around the fourth slot, and orichalkum is hard to accumulate! ---> (I combined this post to keep the resident Mod happy).

Bawdyn: Did you see my "P.P.S." above on castle slots? I added it above to pacify the Mod, but it was after you liked the post. So I wasn't sure if you saw it, and I hoped you did.

You can also use them for some action items, open in-game shop and select Crystals from Currency tab.

Yup, I've seen it. So far I opened one slot and when I saw how much the next cost, I upgraded the first one (to the last pearl only level) instead.
