How do I get Captain chests?

How do I get more captain chests? I do not have a captain with a perk that can do the bonus maps or any of the normal dailies....I bought the store ones but I am not spending 30 pounds for a pack that has two

Is there any quests that reward them? Is it a special event that rewards them?

The event that just completed had a massive chest as part of the event completion reward. There was another one a few events back. Every once in a while they have a voucher that has one. Other than that, I don't know of any other free way to get them.

Captain / Massive Captain chests can be obtained from:

• payment packages
• event completion
• event market (sometimes)
• buccaneer bounty market (require a small pack)
• voucher codes
• forum games / mini games

You should have 2 starter chests, 1 for regular bonus maps and 1 for some daily's, when you first entered the Chest section within Captain League, if I am not mistaken one of them is Adam Stein (the captain).

i thought that captain selection was complety random. if not how do i select certain captains

Captains provided from Captain Chest / Massive Captain Chest are random.

When we introduced captains everyone received two starter chests which contained specific captains (the same for every one).

For the future please do not hijack your fellow pirate thread.

I think you can usually buy the smallest package (approx. $20 U.S.) in the Buc's Bounty, and then get ten chests for crowns or something like that. (The full access also gives you opportunities for many other nice items). Next time there is a Buc's Bounty, you might want to check. (You can look without buying).
