A Question on Event Ships That I Shoot.

I just now watched myself shoot a 6 million hitpoint sub down to zero in 6 shots. I normally hit these event subs for slightly over 500k per torpedo. How is this possible?

Could you describe your issue in a bit more detail?

I don't see anything wrong in what you described.

12 shots times 500,000 = 6 million.

6 shots times 500,000 = 3 million.

How can I hit 500,000 per torpedo, yet sink a 6 million hp sub in 6 shots? The math is all wrong. (And it was 6 shots total. I counted them).

Well.. this is impossible, in my opinion you had auto fire on and did not record all torpedo hitting your target.

The first shot from a sub sends all of your torpedoes at once, so there is 6 torpedoes right there. Then the other 5 following shots that are single make it 11 torpedoes. If they averaged ~550, 000 then that would do it.

 

This is not what Rymar said. Rymar - is he correct? This sounds closer to explaining it.

Well... if you never realised that first hit uses 6 torpedo then yes, Bawdyn is correct.

I normally do not zoom in closely to watch every salvo. I rely on the information in the Seafight Bible (which is apparently always being "updated"). And nowhere does it state that it fires all six salvos on the first shot, and then single salvos. And for that matter, you failed to state it as well.
