EDIT: I just got a Life Ring from a Grisly Spirit. Also, the FAQ confirms this is the one you need to get that item.

Is there any way to get a Magic emblem other than buying for candycanes? I thought in previous yeas the Gjorgold gave out both types.

Magic Emblems can be obtained from:

- The event market
- Some event quests
- NPC

Please note that there are two kinds of Bjorgold:

Bjorgold - this NPC provide chance for Ancient Emblems
Bjorgold Major - this NPC provide chance for Magic Emblems

I agree with you that it makes no sense. Why would anyone "volunteer" to work for free for a "for-profit" company? What would be the motivation? It's a fair question.

 

Is the 'A Christmas Peril - Frozen Abyss' dungeon map accessible yet?

If I cant get in top 100 in Winter Wonderland group map ranking to take that one peace from the puzzle, would there be another one? Or after that 20h left the map will close

Phase 3 of the event shall begin at 12 noon on 11th December.

I know it is possible to get candy canes from the Sinister npc. But is there any other way at this time? And how do we get the gift boxes? I scoured the postings, and saw nothing on this question. Thanks.

You can obtain some from the quests found within the abyss hub, from Captain Scrooge.

You can obtain some gift boxed from defeating NPCs within the abyss map.

These can be obtained from the actual bosses within the Frozen Abyss map (-:

Not the admirals that appear when X NPCs has been defeated but a boss that spawn every 5 waves.

Thorny Roses quest: Collect one Bloodred Roses! I have restarted this quest 2 or 3 times, sunk all the ships, still "NO" bloodred roses.

 

Why hide overlords behind candy.
Why can people with aura shoot the big event ship (sinister sprit) I think it should be changed.
