Another event at the same time as another big event? Both have chests and shipwrecks? Why?

I figured that. My post was mostly rhetorical, but also hopefully as feedback for the future. Two major events at the same time splits our attention and makes it less likely to complete the event... unless this new event is not part of the streak?

 

Killed 80 NPCs, got 0 Orichalkum. lol

* 110 npcs, still 0 orichalkum...

 

Where is Hulder? He is not in the safe haven.

There is a bug
If i go in the map take quest 3 times red
Then 2x clifford and 2x luangard is there but i cantdothe dmg
Must first shoot 3x shadow soidit andgo back to quest giver the4 npc are gone and i can't do the dmg

 

Thread of Intrigue (Past Perils) can't be done. Clifford and Sigurd spawn when you accept the quest in Sharkfang bay, but when you shoot them the damage is not counting. You have to leave Sharkfang bay and shoot the 3 Shadow ships first, then go back into Sharkfang but clifford and Sigurd are now gone and cant be respawned.

 

Let me guess: we cannot access Sharkfang Bay without a "Vovoi Map Book", right? (Hence, this is another obstacle for small boats).

A new world complete _ but what is it fore, i can't seam to find out

 

A couple of things:

• Why is the Harbinger of Doom NCP listed in both events? I shot one with Voodoo ammo and got no bonus damage. Does this mean there are two different ones with the same name? If so, how do we tell them apart?
• While doing the quests that require shooting shipwrecks, I've found that not every one counts for the quest. It's not an issue with the two different shipwrecks, I've had both types count for the quest and both not count for the quest, but it usually takes 4-5 total to count two for the quest.

 

the bigger shipwrecks belong to the jolly roger event.
the wrecks you need have exactly 6k HP.

Thats a quest item. You can read a short bit of a story when looking at it in Depot section of your ship.

There are two Harbringer of Doom NPCs, you can easily tell them apart as one is green and the other one is black.

There are two kinds of shipwrecks in the game, 1 for the Njord event and 1 for Threads. In order to move forward within your quest you'll have to defeat the correct one. How to tell them apart? That's not possible. You'll have to defeat some and if needed look for more.

@Rymar Thanks for the info on the Harbinger. Strangely, all of the shipwrecks counted today.

New one. I got to the point where I couldn't convert any more white threads and all of the combos that I tried with the threads I did have said the combo wasn't valid. So, is there a limit of how many quests you can do? If so, how do I get to the point where the third slot opens up?

 

payout for the "threads admiral" ships is kinda low in comparisson to the standard njord event ships.
280k pearls for shooting 80mil on admiral or 180k pearls for shooting 23 mil on a dooms.

Yes there is a limit of combinations / quests that can be done on daily basis.

I bet you forgot to mix them like this: RED+RED; BLUE+BLUE; BLACK+BLACK

In order to unlock 3rd slot all combinations for 2 slots need to be used.

These should not be compared and both kind of admirals belong to different event.

the 150 / 250 eventpoints of the threads quests fill up the points of njord saga.

 

No, I did those combos as well. After my post above, I went back in several hours later and was able to exchange a few more threads. But even after that, the third slot didn't open. And even if it had, how long do you wait to get more exchanges?
