Well, I don't remember quests names coz they are many u know, but u'll get items from the NPC you are required to make dmg on once it get sunk.

Thanks - I did find a "Crabs Claw" npc being shot by multiple players, and got my item. (Earlier, I was the only player shooting one, and it is 575 million hit points, which is quite a bit).

The fastest way to collect event points would be to hunt Uncle Jack NPC (10 000 event points + chance for another 5 000).

Revenant of Suffering and Crab Claws also have a chance to pay decent 5 000 event points.

It's worth noting that for Uncle Jack, the 10k and 5k are per player, not shared like the other NCP. I think you have to do at least the 2% to get it, but I'm not sure if it's more than that.

Yes, there is a chance to obtain Pirate Glory from the Volcano NPCs.

If we shoot one of these high-hit point npcs during the Volcano phase, how do we know if we have enough time to finish it, in order to get the rewards? I don't understand how the ticker works.

In the past during volcano appearances i have shot at the npcs and they have dissapeared when the volcano becomes dormant again and have lost rewards, I learnt long ago of this risk and now if i see many players shooting then i will join in and shoot for some reward, if only a few or no players are shooting then i dont take the risk.
The volcano can disappear any time, its not too bad on main servers and usually remains active long enough to get some decent rewards, but on small servers like PVE i never shoot the volcano, as it never remains active for long

 

Thank you for this information! I think it is very confusing, and it looks like the mods are also baffled, based on the answers I am reading. It seems like the Volcano npcs might pay some good rewards, but I was not sure how to shoot them, and be sure I got the payoff.

 

Is anyone else having dungeon graphics trouble? I go in and the map gets HUGE, and all of the islands except the main one are gone - disappeared! - plus the blue water only goes to about 2 inches from the edge of the screen, where there is a light purple border about 2 inches wide. My screensize adjuster disappears so I can't fix the perspective. This all makes it pretty hard to navigate as I can't see the islands and am basically sailing blind and keep getting stuck, and shinys and shipwrecks appear on the main island where I can't get at them (can't sail on land, lol). The horseman comes out and I'm flying blind trying to evade him. The map is totally horked.

EDIT: Tried again, did a refresh once in the map and it corrected itself.
Re-edit: Went in a third time, islands visible now but again everything is really big. This should have the same dimensions as the regular maps. When I leave the map to go back to the safe haven the sizing control is all the way up to large. Obviously, this should not be happening.

Edit: What are the red and the light green circles that occasionally open? To be avoided or beneficial...?

 

I've also had the same graphics issues as you a few times. It's like the map from the entry map stays visually, but the islands are still there so you can't move through them. I had to quit the client to get it to go back to normal.

The dungeon map is forced to full zoom in and the zoom control goes away. I've had it where it didn't come back and had to quit the client, like above, to get it back.

The red and green circles, if they are the ones I'm thinking of, come from each of the two additional companions you can buy (with umbra). the first one puts out damage red circles (damage to NCP), the third one puts out green healing circles. The red one should not do anything to you, but the green one helps with healing, so you can go in it.

atlantis quest named "Side Effects" requires 1 Glowing Giand , how we get this item? already shooted down some Ondine, Kemp's, and Ghost of the deep and didnt get it??? so where we get it??
