Why did the speed runner rankings get reset?

Due to technical issue we had to reset some rankings.

If you wish to be placed in these again you'll have to complete the dungeon once again.

Rymar does additional cauldron after kill boss at 15 wave appear at center of map or near boss location or can be spawned all around the map ?

It looks like this may be removed, I did the dungeon about 6 times and never had one.

Additionally when compared to last year we've got "notification" reward when you sail to the final portal (once boss on wave 15 has been defeated).

So it seems that Cauldron is there no more this year...

then how are you supossed to get the first puzzel pieces? it shold drop from that Couldron?

 

Regarding this quest - "The Final Countdown I/II" - must this be done in order to unlock the better items in the event market? I have no idea where it falls in the overall line of quests. I don't want to "live on Seafight" in order to get 500 memories, like I did last year, so I prefer to skip it entirely. I also have lost patience with this goofy dungeon. On one trip, it was like the 9th or 10th time before I finally got my buffed assistant! (Also - I am not even sure what is going on with these event quests. I didn't play for several days, and logged in to find no surface quests available. So I did the few available in Atlantis, but they paid almost nothing in event points).

 

All the current surface quest givers are in the dungeon.

I've completed the map several times, there is a chance a cauldron pops in the center after the last boss is killed (he is also significantly easier than last year to kill, I think I was only able to beat him once last year). I've probably completed the map 12 times and it has popped 3 times. It spawns a bunch of gifts and candy canes that give you loot and I got the puzzle piece from one of them. Not sure if the piece is anywhere else in the map, but that's how I got mine. If you're trying to get thru, I did Bob first and I think he is by far the easiest to get it done, he takes the longest, but far easiest because of the repping he does. It is a grind to get him up to level, but the humbugs come a lot quicker after wave 10.

Correct! According to information provided there is a small chance for a Cauldron to appear once you've defeated the boss on wave 15.

Once Cauldron is sunk it spawn bunch of candycane glitters, one of these may contain a puzzle piece you are looking for.

In the Frozen Abyss map, why can't we automatically receive the assistant we are trying to build up? This is so poorly designed, that it's hard to comprehend. Oversights like this are exactly why I see virtually no one on my server on the seachart, and this is the Christmas event! Who needs auras with nobody playing? And remember, this is also running concurrently with "Marauder Days"! The global chat (despite being English) is full of foreign-language-speaking players. Where are the Chat Moderators? Good grief, Charlie Brown!

There is exactly 5 of them somewhere within your Dungeon HUB.

If you leave these NPCs will despawn - in that case please cancel your quest and do it again.

These new quests for this phase (Haldor) do not have Event Points. How are we supposed to complete this event without them?

You can obtain a lot of event points by sinking NPCs we still have over 20 days of event to go, so plenty of time (-:

Really??? I'm only at ~18% there so far and most of that is from quests. Shooting NCPs for 50-100 points takes a long long time.

The event is easy to complete, all it takes is a bit of time here and there.

We are on 24 days to go, 3 more event phases, plenty of quests and other challanges and I personally have 76% done, with 450 000 event points collected. If I played a bit more frequently perhaps this number would be higher. What do I do to get points so high? The answer is simple, admirals.
