This is what I recall from "old times", I havent played that map yet - simply didn't had time to.

Within this map you can find 2 bosses, Nidhug and Hildisvini.

Your goal is to defeat both of them - but it is your choice which one you want to put into "phase 2".

Map ends when both Nidhug and Hildisvini are defeated.

During Phase 1 you'll find both bosses applying a debuff on you these buffs have certain stacks attached to them (which mean 1 boss can debuff you more than once at a time).

Hildisvini will spawn Freyas once damaged, Nidhug will spawn his whale helpers.

You and your friend need to focus on one boss (eg. Nidhug) and sink it as first - this will put 2nd boss into Phase 2 where it will become more aggressive.

If I will find a better way to do it or the map was modified then you'll have to wait for me to actually have time to play it a bit

So please be patient.

At this point of the event, I'm less than halfway to the event point total needed for completion, and I've played a lot since it started. Done all of the quests, hit event ships, etc. Should I be concerned? Any advice? Thanks!

 

mate are you hitting the bigger ships? festive, sinister, snow queen? if you hit them with 3-5 people you can easily rack up 3-5k points in 10 min. I waited for my 3 hour aura and just chased the notifications around

 

I guess not enough yet . I'd love to find 3-5 people hitting them, often I'm alone (which is no fun) or there are 10-12 ships.

 

I can relate to your sense of concern, as well. I'm presently at only a bit over 327,000 points, and I haven't exactly been "not trying". It may require a mini-marathon to reach. It depends on what the remaining quests pay out (hopefully - a lot more in event points).

Focus on defeating as many admirals as possible, Snow Queen and Scrouge seem to be the best ones for event points so far.

This will allow you to obtain a few thousands event points every day

On my own I am at 880 000 shooting only Snow Queens currently with some random players I meet.

i have finish a cupple of times but dont see anything on the map ?

Cauldron spawn close to you, there is no way for you to miss it once it appear.

Please be aware that there is only a small chance for additional cauldron to appear (once boss on wave 15 is defeated).

åhhhh.... so i can do 10 whitout a cauldron?

 

This event is a joke, group maps bugged as always and Dungeon takes to much time so no point in doing period! admirals doing way to much damage can not see new players even trying to do it. I am going on 8 years on 1351 server and not even trying it is pointless!

Correct, I've done about 12 so far and haven't seen the cauldron at all. Everything depends on your luck.

Could you please tell us what do you mena by "group maps bugged" ?

I have played each and every group map / mini game available and none of them had any issues.

Dungeon takes time only at the beginning phase, later on it is not that bad.

To much damage for new players to even try it? What do you mean? Within the dungeon everyone are EQUAL so I with 139% damage prevention will get the same hits as other player with just 15%.

Not going to say worst event ever... but worst christmas event ever!

 

Can the npc design "Frozen Dread" be acquired? I was curious. Thank you.

 

Memories requirements, totally unrealistic.
Just completed the factoid requiring 50, only to find the next 'Christmas stuffing' requires 200. Not maxed out on Bob yet so cant get past lvl6. its taking approx 20 mins to get 1 memory, as there are 13 days approx left it will take 5hrs a day just to complete 'Christmas stuffing', totally unrealistic.
The good stuff in the market needs factoid Mistletoe and whine completed, how many memories for this?
EDIT: So managed to do second christmas 15 memories, though it may take a while for my eyes to stop bleeding!

 

Are there going to be any announcement about the exchange rate of event coins?
Specifically im asking about the orichalkum one..

 

i just started the event but i do not get any rewards, whats up with that ? i saw that u need 1 event completion point to get them but im at 3% so what am i missing ?

The dungeon takes a lot of time only at the beginning, this is not something that you can do in 5 minutes.

The amount of received Christmas Memories is growing 5 -> 15 -> 150 so these are not that hard to be obtained at all, we still have plenty of days (event) running

Upgrade one of your companions and keep jumping in / out for as long as you get the desired companion with you, once your companion is upgraded enough it takes about 5 minutes to beat 1st boss without breaking a sweat.

If the information you are looking for is not within the FAQ provided then most likely it won't be provided at all.

As to the event exchange we almost never provided the exact rate, so I don't think this will change during this event.

In order to obtain rewards from regular event NPCs you need to finish the first event quest (in most events this is the main source of your first event points which are required to obtain any rewards).

Therefore, I believe this section is useless, as is the FAQ.
From now on, I suggest that it will be sufficient to announce the name of the event and the start date, with the addition of the phrase "discover for yourself".
