The quest that keeps disappearing is "Familiar Baggage" (4th surface quest). The one I can't finish at all is "The Great Clogging" (1st Atlantis) as I have yet to see any Charybdis Tentacles. I never get there in time.

    Ahoy Bawdyn!

Noted, could you please provide a bit more of info on the task Familiar Baggage - it seems that must have done this one already.

    Ahoy julian_white!

Congratulations! You won a submarine design! :)

    Tasks are:
    15 Bloodred Roses
    10M damage to Penelope
15M damage to Calypso Tentacle, Charybdis Tentacle, Ghost Ship, or Spawn of Calypso

If it is daily, then you should see it every day. If it's not daily then it should stop disappearing before I can finish it.

    Hello there Bawdyn.

The quest you are refering to is a daily quest, This quest resets every day at 11am U.K. time, If you have not completed it before the reset you will have to start it again.

The spawning of the Charybdis Maw is maybe the most messed-up concept on this game....ever. I sailed for an hour with none spawning. Finally, one spawned. I had used a teleport beforehand, so I used an hourglass to reactivate the teleport. I got to the maw (it *finally* does show us where it is at), and couldn't get a shot off on a tentacle before I was sunk by the maw. Tried again, same result. It vanished for good. *Then* they started spawning like crazy, and there I sat, with my teleport still in cooldown mode. This is just ridiculous.

I have a couple of questions:
    • How do you collect the Charybdis’ Riches? You can't target them to shoot and sitting on them does nothing. I've collected zero of them as far as I can tell.
    • What is the best way to get event points. I don't seem to get any from Calypso or it's Spawn or their tentacles. The quests and NCP don't give near enough to complete the event. What am I missing?

I'm not sure whether or not this is the best method, but it should build event points relatively fast. (I was wondering the same thing as you, since I still need a good bit of event points. I'm going to make this my "fallback method").

    2026-02-26 16:56:52 You sank Tentacled Fiend's ship.
    2026-02-26 16:56:52 You received 2399 x Event points.

    * You have to set few sec close to riches to collect, same way as other chests but u have to hold few sec, but is not a big deal.
    * I would recommend you to shoot siren, you can solo it by ur own and good profit like calypso/spawn of calypso:
You received 33815 x Event points.
    You sank Siren's ship.

    Ahoy Bawdyn!

Your fellow pirate is correct, collecting Charybdis Riches can be done by simply stacking on top of them for a brief moment.

Event points are provided by all event NPCs and collecting them shouldnt take more than few hours, the quickest way seem to be event quests and Siren NPC.

Thank you @The*Defiant, @cʟαш, and @Rymar for the advice.

I have tried sitting on the riches but since the pull of the Maw is is so frequent and I have almost no control in the zone area even when it's 'off' it must not be long enough. Followup question - What are the rewards from the Riches?

It sounds like I'll shoot some Sirens. There seems to be a lot of them around. Quests seem to range from 1500 to 4000 points, so that's not enough to get 650k points. I'm still under 200k even with shooting all the NCP for the quests plus others beyond that. I did finally get some from Calypso and Spawn, but I had to shoot a significant amount more to get any. The threshold for getting any points must be more than 2%.

EXP, Pearls, Crystals, Mojo, Legba Amulet, Triton’s Benevolence, Teleportation, Emergency Repairs, Treasure Chest Key, Heartbreaker Ammo, Black Gunpowder, Agwe’s Armor Plates, Crowns, Yulong or Safanad Coins and more - these are the rewards from Chyrabdis Riches.

Scarcity of radiant souls is a problem with this event. Being able to exchange the cursed souls helps, but I think calypso, spawn of calypso, and siren need to be guaranteed radiants instead of chance.

Please get rid of most of the "Sirens", not many are being shot.
