Parade appear within a random map on a random time. Once there you can find all in-game quest givers sailing from bottom left to top right, every now and then a few glitters drop containing additional rewards.

Clever corsairs from all over Nautica are hereby invited to participate in all three rounds of Glory World's quiz show, Boat Busters!
The first round is led by knight Liko (Phase 1)

 

2000 npc's to complete the event. That's a lot. 100 every day. I would say 1500 is more realistic because if you have a life it's almost impossible.

 

Is there an announcement for the parade? How are we supposed to find it?

The Pirate Showdown seems very complicated. I see it now in the general FAQ section, so I assume this will be a regular thing going forward?

Yup, if you are close enough there is an annoucement displaying on the top of your screen, additionally you can open the World Map and hover your mouse over all maps 1 by 1 to see where the Parade is currently at.

Correct! Pirate Showdown is a permanent addition to the game! Like a Volcano it will appear from time to time

The FAQ doesn't mention daily quests in the 'how many quests per phase' section, but further down it says the daily quests are reset at noon. Are there supposed to be daily quests or not? I don't see any new ones today, but maybe they are not from quest givers in the SH?

EDIT: I found them... maybe? I now see 3 new 'Party Popper' quests at Elisa Bradford. I'm not sure why she showed an X instead of a ? when I first logged on.

The one thing I have notice about the parade is that it's always the same players that always get the maps and skins every time, I wonder why???? I played 6hrs yesterday and it was the same players all the time, Maybe Bp should change that, so everyone has a fair chance at getting something good, and I have all of the sigma packs, and my ship is pretty fast, but these ships always get maps and ship..just a thought.

Each and every player have the same % chance to obtain bonus maps / designs etc.

Each and every glitter provide you and every single pirate with the same chance to drop a good item.

Well, here is my feedback. Designs are very nice (I check the designs page when I see some players get in announcements), but the probability of getting them is extremely low. I collected glitters for 7-8+ hours , and that was all I was doing, and no designs. From one Parade, I managed to get 5 chests, and all I got was 2 Plato Coins and around 60 Pirate Glory (NO designs). I participated in maybe 8-9 parades in total, and I got maybe around 16-18 chests, and no designs (only the Gaia Defender Badge). We don't even know how many designs we are able to get, and from where (glitters, parade, etc), so we can have evidence, or an idea about what we fight/roam around for. I get this might be chosen to be a surprise (which is cool, honestly), but again, the main issue, very, very low probability.

Ship designs can be obtained from all sort of things, not just the parade

Yes, Raymar, like collecting glitter. But it is an extremely low probability. I mean, I am already on 11+ hours only collecting glitters, so we are talking about hundreds if not thousands, of glitters, hoping for a design, and still nothing. And by seeing the announcement of players getting designs, I can see there are quite a number. I like 2-3 designs out of all, and I am kinda trying to hunt for those, but getting nothing is quite frustrating after this amount of time spent searching.

Today I go to Atlantis, there are no event quests, I signed out completely, signed in again. I go see all 3 event quest givers, still no quest.

 

Pirate showdown would be fun if it was strategy based and not just "who has better captains?"

 

The FAQs state we have quests and "normal" quests, and that daily quests reset every day at 12 noon, local server time. What is considered to be a "normal" quest?

Thousands of Parade glitters? How come? There is only 1 player who just exceeded 1 000 collected glitters so far.

Chances for rare loot won't be increased, if something is supposed to be rare then it is supposed to be...

I personally collected 150+ Parade Glitters and had multiple crew members, 2 Red maps, 1 Blue map, 3 Yellow and 1 ship design.

There is nothing wrong with the chance to drop special loot from these glitters.

Atlantis do not have any daily quests included within 1st Phase of the event.

A couple of questions:

1. The FAQ doesn't have the dates for when the next phases start. I can speculate that the 18th, 23rd and 27th could be the dates as these are the dates mentioned for upcoming subevent things starting, but the 18th seems too long after the start of the event and the Party Poppers appear to be at an end after today (based on the quests that count for the event completion, IX is the last one). Does anyone know the actual dates?
2. What are the best ways to get event points? The quests so far don't seem to be enough and the NCP don't give out enough. I've noticed that the NCP give the same amount no matter how much of it you damage, so that means you can go out and one shot a whole bunch of them and the points when someone else sinks them, but even with that it seems not enough. Is there something I've missed?
3. None of the Group Maps that are showing in the event completion are mentioned in the FAQ. Map of Forever, Gift Volcano, Soul Escape and Domination Arena are listed in the FAQ as something that is coming later. The Domination Arena sounds like a group map, but it's not listed in the event completion. Are any of these other things group maps? Will there be any info coming on how these maps will work?
4. The event completion lists three NCP in the last section (Black Rock, Gift, Ice Block). I assume they are future NCP, but they are not listed in the FAQ even though there are other NCP listed we haven't seen yet. Will these three be on the sea or in the group maps or in the maps being given out by the parade (that I have yet to get)?
