Can someone share how to make portal of elements big portal thing. 5 minutes there seems kinda little if need to kill that akhiyyini, itself and minions hits kinda lot and need to repair all the time. somehow i had idea that these has done a way, that i can solo all big ones. also it offer portal of joy, which also dont have any info nowhere

 

i love how u can be in 8th spot on ranking in some of group maps just to have some one push lower in rank receiving same score as i did lol im guessing his score being the same was better than mine same time finished and all. but im pushed to a lower rank wth is really going on lol

We've forwarded some feedback regarding the Parade, however I can't promise that any changes will take place.

I am doing quite a few glitters per each Parade I take part in (usually 10-20 per one, with The Hourglass and 100% zoom active.

I am also using the Swiftstones all way round.

That's the hardest big portal within this "edition" of MoF.

You all (3) have to focus on the main NPC, defeate the Whirlpool and do not get distracted by NPCs spawned by the main boss.

Hailstorm + Bloodlust + Dragonfires from all three of ya should make a major difference.

So in short Big Boss -> Whirpools -> Big Boss -> Whirpools -> Big Boss etc.

If two players finished with the exact same time but your fellow pirate is in front if you then it must have been a matter of miliseconds.

Please be aware that in some rankings if two players score 18 points while being on rank 1 (just an example) then both of them are getting rank 1 rewards.

Dumb question what kind of ammo should I be using when doing the mini games like the Portal of Reality?

 

Parades a Joke have to be a bot because zoomed and still cannot see dropped stuff fast enough to get and if click by were many picking items up just get big popup blocking the screen.

 

1) Where is the Official Announcement for the "Mod Battle Event" that I just saw moments ago in my "event ticker"?
2) Is this part of the 20th birthday celebration?
3) Where is the explanation of how it works?
4) And (going back to a debated issue previously discussed), do mods sail their own boats, and if they don't have one, does Seafight provide them one, or in that case, do they just not participate? (I'm still trying to understand this game, despite my playing continuously for almost 17 years).

For what it's worth, the "flying tiger" portal map within the "Map of Forever" is very odd. The first time I played it, I ended up shooting several npcs with the word "Foo" in them. (Apparently, that did nothing). The second time, there were *no* npcs that came after me. To make it even more puzzling, the specific information about this map refers to "lanterns" we shoot, and not "npc ships". It is very confusing.

Update - Here is a link from March of 2019 with much better portal information, and shows the "lantern" npcs I mentioned above. It looks like the portals have changed some, but this may help us by giving more detailed information. As difficult as the MoF is, it may be worth your time to read about the individual portals, and how to attack them:

Confetti ammunition may provide additional damage in most of the mini portals.

The only portal that require your "ammo change" is the one with Golems.

You are getting "pop up" because you use LEFT mouse click to navigate your ship, this way you'll never get any glitters that are next to or under the parade.

As mentioned in my previous post within this thread you are supposed to use RIGHT mouse button which allow you to click on any player / npc / monster / parade quest-giver freely.

You can pass each and every group map solo or with a friend, there shouldnt be any issues with it.

I, for example, did the Death Portal on my own - yes it took me a bit but I've managed.

And since everyone are EQUAL in these map so can you!

Thank you Rymar, I try it and I didn't stand a chance, my boat is not strong enough and with the slow down Bp put on the boat doesn't help either.... I guess Bp didn't want lil boats to be successful and enjoy the event

Take a closer look at the quest you are talking about, this one allow you to do the damage on Gift or Black Rock, so you dont have to do the Golems portal to do it, you could have damaged the Volcano Gifts.

To complete the map (portals and group map) takes nothing but time, the only troublesome map is the one with Ayiakhi boos and thats it.

The rest is simply hit your target, run to repair and repeat this process.

100% you can do it. Every ship is exactly the same in MoF, you could be maxed lvl 60 etc. or lvl 1 just started yet you are equal within this map - there is no difference between these accounts at all.

Pirate Tergrinder made a great suggestion to allow us to buy temporal energy every 12 hours, and not 24, as it is now. We were not properly given instructions on the portals to begin with. It's the least Bigpoint can do. Many players are just now beginning to figure out how to navigate the Map of Forever, yet the event clock is ticking. I hope this will be changed.

 

I've yet to see a parade...

That's great, but I've yet to see the volcano erupting when I've been on line. I don't play all day. I play a couple, maybe 3 hours a day and have not seen either volcano or parade. Whatever.

Use the islands as blockers against Rat king, keep an island between yourself and the king, you'll still have to run and rep but it's doable in about 10 minutes. The hardest one is the one with all the attackers. You're on a timer, have to complete before the timer runs out. It took a couple tries but I eventually got it, stay ahead of them and shoot continuously - don't stop to rep, wastes time. You'll get it. I've found that burning ice ammo is as good as any.
