I see some players with a sort of whirlpool around their boat. What is that? It's not from a shipdesign because I've seen it on different designs.

Indeed they do, I have myself in fact collected at least 4 or 5 designs from basic standard glitters so far during the event.

Many of the designs you see picked up by players on the announcements (when there is no Parade active) will have been collected from glitters.

what is meaning to do in this soul chaser map? other than get sinked by someone in first few seconds. and why theres so little info about anything, everything needs to be asked here? it is waste of everyones time

 

How to get Pirate glorys fast?

 

No new quests with phase 4? The FAQ says there should be 5 new surface ones.

 

Hulder has the new quest, but in order to see and do the quest you need to have done the previous quests. You also need to have done all the quests in atlantis if you want to unlock the final quest that gives the badge.

 

+ new quests give pretty good event points for who didnt manage to collect enough points yet.

Hope that everyone noticed a small change to the MoF - it can be done every 12 hours instead of 24 right now providing you with more chance to finish your portals!

Volcano is working for as long as players flue it by sinking Gifts.

If enough time passed and no Gift was sunk then volcano goes "silent" even if the event ticker is showing that it is active.

Jump into the map select a glitter (red / blue - different buff) and sink players / NPCs found around.

Each player / NPC you sink drops a gift which you have to collect.

Once yellow portal appear you need to use it to "escape" from the map and get your rewards.

If you do not manage to "escape" all rewards are lost.

Do your own portal mini games + big one, then continue with your friends portals. This seem to be the fastest way.

There are some quests at Hulder, but you need to have all other quests (previous phases + Atlantis) done before attempting these.

How can Coin Collector be earned?

Are Plato's and Solon's coins exchanged at end of event or can they be used in future events?

 

Coin collector can be obtained by completing all event quests including the event quests in atlantis.
And yes coins will be exchanged for pearls if i'm correct.

 

I ve just got that coin collector, but I don't know where I can find it. I even don't know what it is... I thought it was a design or pet, but I've no idea...

Your fellow pirate -Seaker- is correct, Coin collector is a Badge that is rewarded when the final event quest is completed.

The coins will most likely be exchanged once the event is complete.

It is a badge, These can be displayed on the seachart, You will find them in your overview if you select 'Badges'

@Mr-Amber thank you! Yesterday I had looked to my badges, because I see some other players have that badges but I don't see one on my account. Even not after a few page refreshes. But when I log in today I take a look again and now I've got the badge! Thank you anyway!

 

Map of Forever conundrum:

For what it's worth, I wanted to share what I just found out. I (like I imagine others are doing) have been trying to get extra pirate glory currency here at the end. I have been having trouble understanding the rules that apply "when inviting other players":

Benefits of Inviting Players to the Map of Forever:

Having players join you in the Map of Forever allows you to get some much needed help to try and complete the Group Maps! All players who wish to enter a Group Map must all be located inside the teleporter when the Portal is clicked.

Are you stuck on a mini game? Fret not! Players you invite can complete your mini games for you too!

Any Portals that Players complete in your Map of Forever reward you with a Jewel, the same as if you completed it yourself, however, you will not receive the Pearls.

What do these Players get from completing Portals for you I hear you ask. Well, not only do they get the Pearl reward, they get a Jewel Fragment for each Portal they complete - either on their own or part of a group.

Jewel Fragments provide no benefits in the Map of Forever, what powers can be unleashed with just a fragment of a Jewel! However, should you speak to the quest giver "Al-Akhir" at the bottom of the large island in the Map of Forever, you can provide him with 10 Jewel Fragments and in return he will reward you with 1 random Jewel; the same you would receive should you complete a Portal.

Well, here is what I was told by Support when I inquired further:

"We would like to clarify that only the Big Portal can be completed with companions. The smaller portals, such as the one you tried, are designed as solo maps, so they cannot be entered with other players."

So I'm a bit confused on the "jewel fragments issue", as well as how to reconcile the difference in these two bits of information. And to be honest, there actually *is* a way to do another person's smaller portals that I discovered last night. Nonetheless, I appreciate the moderators trying to give us the correct information, whatever it may actually be.

 

Can someone please explain why the 4th piece of the event ship is so hard to get. I have shot so many of JormunGrowr and each time nothing. I never get any of the boxes or the ship piece please advise would like to get the ship before the event ends.

 

I see that some of the Map of Forever individual portal rankings pay puzzle pieces when the prizes are awarded. What is the logic on that? If we need a puzzle piece and get it awarded when this event ends, what good does that do? I must be missing something.

 

Where is the Snooty Kilikerian??? Supposed to kill 10 and haven't seen a single one.

For what it's worth, I think that the 2-million event point bar was set way too high. I have gotten much less enthusiastic about these events because of this lack of planning and thought. It seems that someone who has no clue about this game is designing these things for us. Either that, or there is an intentional attempt to addict players. I marathoned the final bit and made it, but I don't see that happening again. I had the 24-event streak complete last time, and got only "50% more Pirate Glories". They aren't even worth it, since many events don't have them. And it probably won't matter anyway, because based on the lack of players on my server, and if it's like this everywhere, this game doesn't have much life left in it. It is a really nice game, but it has been very poorly managed for many years. And very little "maintenance" is being done to fix mistakes. Assuming Seafight is indeed profitable, my question is: can you imagine what this game could have made if it had been run correctly?

P.S. Lastly, we were told this:

The event starts at Thursday, 12th March at 12 noon and ends Tuesday, 31st March at 23:59.

So on my server, why are there less than 3 hours to go right now (my server time hits midnight when my local time is 2 a.m.), and yet the event ticker shows over 14 hours are left? It sure would have been nice to have known this beforehand!
