technical question (graphics?)

I'm curious if this issue has something to do with some setting that one can change or if it is rather an issue of better hardware / better internet connection.

-> this is 2 seconds apart. ofc it's just unlucky respawn placement, but somehow the opponent was able to see my ship before it even was visible for me!

eg. if better hardware, I believe more RAM is allocated to the game, allowing for quicker loading of the respawn.. ----- if some setting issue, perhaps with a better graphics card / more resources allocated to graphics (higher fps), the loading would visually be faster? <-- this is all speculation. I have no clear understanding of the magics.

No, there is no "setting issue" at your end. There is nothing wrong beind sunk second after second, a simple unlucky respawn.
