Correct, FAQ was incorrect in some small parts, this was now corrected.

You DO NOT need to board the NPCs to get the puzzle or design - boarding is just additional chance to get'em.

This has been changed to Radiant Souls.

You can obtain Chips from Group Maps, Daily quest in Atlantis, some event NPCs / Admirals.

Quest-giver is a different storry but you can find him "live" within the game.

I have been boarding them (most of them), even though 30k boarding value is a lot. I shot many more since I posted earlier but still only have 2. I did get 3 of the nation ships, but no more puzzle pieces.

 

Okay Rymar, I will look again (third time), but if it's not illustrated under ship designs, I don't know where else to look. BTW, the angle of "straight on" in the example of what to look for is not the way the ships appear under ship designs in SFB. The view there is at an angle from above, which makes this all the more perplexing.

 

Thanks - very interesting since my quests didn't reset until this morning (East coast U.S. ET time). And if you win a bet, you only get your initial bet back? I had two tokens, bet one on each game yesterday, won one and lost one, and now have no tokens.

Personally I've sunk about 500 event NPCs and I've got 25 puzzle pieces and 21 ship designs (I've boarded each and every NPC).

When it comes to the drop rate I guess something will change as we move forward within the event - if you take a look at previous Worldcup something like that actually took place.

For the third time I am telling you that the ship design from this mini game CAN be found within the forum, take a closer look at the colour next to it... it can't be more obvious.

When it comes to quest-giver you must have meet him at some point, but I can't drop any hints.

I am of the opinion that the "quest giver" in question really is *not* a quest giver. However, he is "associated" with that feature in this game. And, in my humble opinion, he doesn't look like the "pictured silhouette". As you might suspect, he is *not* listed among the quest givers listed in the Seafight Bible. That may be because he isn't a true "quest giver". I'm not trying to start an argument, but thought I'd share my opinion on this matter.

Go to map 10 and pick the GREEN flag.

Then without being sunk carry it over to map 30 where you can find RED flag that you need to pick.

Once you pickup RED flag you win and can redeem your quest.

You can't, you'll have to level up if you wish to complete this quest.

You can purchase some Cursed Souls within the event market, if you need more you'll have to collect several puzzle cards and exchange your duplicates in the event trade window.
