I run into the same guy in the rumble, like right away, and he kills me every time. I'm talking 5 to 10 seconds in. I thought we are all supposed to be equal in there. I fired the first shot and he still beats me with over half his hit points left. Same guy has won it last 3 times in a row. ... or am I just unlucky, lol? BTW, the Storm Wahoos are far too aggressive, too fast, hit too hard, plus they gang up and you don't have a chance to get away. Sucks getting sunk 20 seconds in by two of the buggers!

Kill 25 David Wrech -Ém. Have over 200.000.000 hp and hits you over 1mill per damage. Is there an easier way to bring them down instead repare/shoot/repare shoot?

 

I am dubious as to there being enough trades available to complete the puzzle.
48 teams this time, last time it was a very tight squeeze to do enough trades to get all the parts with less teams to collect.

When does Tier 2 completion start?

Bulwarks, amulets etc is needed, charge up your sentinel with lvl6 bastions, re-equip thunders and 1 bastion, shoot and activate sentinel.
Also check to see if you have a 5% armour plates bonus gem to equip.

Everyone within the Rumble map are equal you can however collect chests which provide you with an option of gaining upgrades for your ship.

Work on your dmg. prevention / dodge chance in all aspects of the game (gems, castles, trophies etc.) if you wish for the damage to be much lower.

We are just within the 2nd phase of the event, there is still more than enough time (if you play...) to collect puzzle pieces.

With my limited playtime I am currently at 74 cards collected. So almost 1/4 in without many hours invested in NPCs.

Phase 2 of the event should start 23.06

Number of trades, an explanation.
An epic costs 5 commons which is the piece most commonly collected, so to trade for 1 epic costs 6 trades.
48x3= 144 epics are required, so 144 x 6 trades = 864 trades, @ 20 per day = 43 days, with 32 days left of the event. I have just reached the stage where I am trading for epics, the majority of players most likely aren't this far advanced.
Obviously a simplification not counting rares, pieces already gained.
I'm on 204 and not confident all the pieces can be gained in time.

Convert your current pieces to common pieces equivalent then compare to total common pieces required to complete the puzzle.

 

The drop rate for sub designs/buzzle pieces (for both Atlantis & Nautica) is horrible!

 

On puzzle pieces, I know the moderators may have a lot of them accumulated, but their play is not typical. They can work while they play (moderating Chat, etc.). Most of us cannot do that. Right now, I personally have 42/432 pieces (and that was even after buying some in the market).

I have much more time than the average player to play Seafight. I did - in one instance - marathon a session that lasted 14 hours straight, in order to finish one event. (That is not recommended, by the way)! But doing the math, I'll say it is *highly unlikely* many of us will get all of the pieces needed, unless we spend a ton of time playing, the drop rate is dramatically increased, or both things happen. I haven't ever gotten close to getting them all before, either.

My strategy was going to be to buy a lot of epic pieces first, since they are tough to get. But then I realized it was more profitable to instead buy all of the common pieces first, since that moves me closer to reaching the "unlocks required" milestones, in order to get the nice goodies faster. Only in the event I later get within "striking range" of the big prize, will I change my puzzle-piece buying strategy.

 

On the Nordic Rumble map: I think I won, but I'm not certain. I won one time long ago, and so I already had the title "Last Pirate Standing". I thought I just now saw a gold title or badge or something that said "Military Expert", but now I can't find it. I also had this in my logbook:

We have increased the chance to obtain puzzle pieces within last sync, and yes these do drop more often now.

Military Expert is a ship castle, we did not add anything new (title / badge) to this year Rumble map.

And yes, you won - you can tell that by the 150 Rumble Tokens received.

They doubled the drop-rate, matey! Doubled it! That's a 100% increase in probability. It went from 1/100 to 2/100! <-- (I'm joking, but who knows)?

 

Thank you for this information. I checked, and I have that particular castle slot upgraded to 10/10 and active. I am confused how I got a message about it at the end of the Rumble map. And I saw a gold-looking icon with the words "Military Expert". Any idea on that part?

I agree at the beginning of the event, I received several for 2-3 days. Then after 2 updates to increase puzzle pieces, they dropped significantly and has not changed for me either. Way too hard to get.

I did get "one" submarine yesterday.

Puzzle Pieces and Puzzle Completion

If you just get common pieces you cannot complete the puzzle, see my previous post.

You have to board and sink the country NPC's, if you are very lucky you might get 1 or 2 rares/epics this way per day plus a lot of commons.

You must shoot Blitz every time he spawns, you should get a common as a minimum and the chance of an rare/epic is also increased, whether as last shot I do not know.

Why have the design team got it so wrong?
They have not correctly factored in the change from 32 to 48 teams a 50% increase.
Only increased event time to length of WC approx 25%.
The amount of trades has been copied from the last version of max 20 trades.

Gaining of puzzle pieces appears not to be linear.

Given the amount of time elapsed the trades need to be increased to 30-40 to compensate for the expanded amount of teams.

I am currently
65/144 finished
231/432 added
with plenty of commons spare that I cannot trade.

 

Hi. I really want to know if devs have some metrics about how many submerged nation NPC were killed and how many of them gave designs, because I killed A LOT of that NPC and just get only 8 designs .

A) they wont tell you the odds
B)unity has a few built in 'loot' functions, again may not be a simple 1 in 200 chance as an answer.
