So I came out of the Rift map, and went to get some food. I came back to my computer, and I'm in the Kraken map! What gives? I was in the Rift map a long time. Maybe I was in the Kraken queue earlier, but I don't know. I never want to go into the Kraken map, and it sometimes shows I'm in the queue when I'm in Atlantis for a long period of time. I always try to shoot ships after picking up Kraken meat (to avoid the queue), so I don't know why I went into the queue, especially after being in the Rift map.

you don't leave the kraken queue by shooting ships. you have to end the session and start a new session (relog). once you log out your place in the queue will be lost. if you are still in the queue after relogging then let the mods know as it could be an issue.

    Ahoy The*Defiant!

Your fellow pirate is correct, if you dont want to jump into kraken once you've collected kraken meat you need to leave the queue - by performing a full logout.

I knew logging out and back in would solve it, but that is problematic (not well thought-out), in that one of the tasks to obtain "coins of effort" is collecting kraken meat. I thought by shooting npcs, we could stop ourselves from being added to the queue. Is that incorrect? (I'm at "180/250" right now on the kraken meat). Are you telling me to log out every time I pick one up?

    Ahoy The*Defiant!

Yes you can "cancel" your ship jumping into the Kraken by shooting an NPC (for example) but that apply only and only if you are on the countdown to be moved in.

You don't have to logout every time, simply dont leave your ship on the water on its own or perform a logout if you are getting closer to the entry number.

Thank you, Rymar. One more question: how do we correctly read the queue? I saw it recently, and it showed (I kid you not): "16/10".....? I thought (for example) when it said "16/20", that meant when 4 more players entered the queue, the teleport would happen. <--(I must have this wrong).

    Ahoy The*Defiant!

    16/10

In this case - there is a requirement of minimum 10 players to "start" the Kraken.

Once 10 players collected meat piece you'll be teleported to challange the Kraken.

16 - this is your current position in queue.

If I am #16 in the queue, and 10 players minimum are required, then what does that mean? It seems like it should be 6/10.

Kraken map allow only 10 players to be inside of it at once.

If you are 16/10 that mean another 6 players have to leave Kraken or get sunk within this map in order for you to be teleported there.
