Feedback Civil War: Call of Booty

What is the most productive way to earn a lot of pearls quickly? I should know the answer but don't, since I have (at times) had over 500 million, and stopped counting, or caring much about earning them. But for this event, that one special gem requires a billion of them. Any suggestions?

 

The volcano rocks are giving quite high values for loot, but they don't give anything towards the event. It seems to be erupting more often and for longer times than the previous event. The only thing that gem gives that I care about is 5% armor plate bonus, so it's not worth it to me.

Best way to gain pearls would be to hit the Volcano NPCs.

Gem price can be lowered if you purchase (for example) a Happy Day Bundle which offer 25% discount on all Pearl cost for 24 hours.

If you own an island you can cut down this price even further. I own Slashing Blades + 25% discount and it coest me only 650m pearls .

I can assure you that your own NPCs are not attacking you at all, the effect applied to you comes from the torpedo fired from the opposite faction.

How does Elric Fletcher appears?

Why can other players damage way over 500.000 in damage and I only 1-200.000? Using wrong ammo? In group map.

 

I do sometimes fight PvP, so the PvP benefits of the gem add to the attractiveness of it. That said, I'm not going to spend a lot of time trying to get one.

Thank you for this suggestion. I tried it just now, but the pearl payouts were not in big amounts, and the volcano rewards aren't always in pearls. We really need more event npcs that pay them out in large amounts, like in previous events.

It's a "super admiral". Virtually nobody listens to us on this game, since it has no ticker to indicate when it might spawn. I've mentioned the need for this multiple times in our forum. Make your best guess: in one minute from now, one hour, one day...who knows? This is all I could find: "Once enough Elden Hitch have been destroyed Elric Fletcher will appear."

 

I trust you, but then why does my factions' boat/sub appear on the " your attackers" -slot?
it's just a minor inconvenience, but I feel the need to point it out (cuz I have so many better things to do)

Where to enter Pirate showdown? Been to every quest giver.

 

Question regarding quests:
Nordic Whispers; damage Birger the Sneak.
--> do all quests that come after get blocked if we do not manage that one / damaging Birger ?

 

I am on that too, played all day today and did not see a single Birger. How are we supposed to move on if they don't spawn...?

Elric Fletcher appear after a certain number of Elden Hitch have been sunk, additionally it seems to also spawn on some sort of a timer.

Group map as in Eruption of Chaos? This map is PvP so the current state of your boat plays a major role in it.

That's because of breach applied on your ship by one of the NPCs.

When NPC activate Exploit Breaches on their end (which this event NPCs does) it affect everyone in range - and since a breach been already set on you it simply activated.

Correct, most of the quests from this phase are blocked if you do not do the previous one.

You are on quest B -> Quest C becomes visible after you complete quest B

They do spawn quite frequently, keep an eye on the admiral rage bar it always helps.

What makes it tough is when you diligently watch the ticker and it spawns somewhere, but you can't see it. Then you realize how much time you wasted! That happened to me on this npc (as well as npcs on other events). I've complained about this "proximity limit" before, to no avail. It makes you just want to go play some other game.

The spawn message display is quite big and it is rly hard to miss, you could also use the annoucement window to keep track of spawns.

No Rymar, that's not the problem. I do keep the Announcement window open and locked, and watch the tickers. And I see the Seachart messages when the npcs spawn within whatever "range" is in effect for that ship, *if* I am within the range of notification. But I often can't see them, and it isn't like I'm in map 30/1 (a corner). Both the Announcement window message and the Seachart message for "Birger the Sneak" are "proximity-dependent".

That said, I did find a small bit of consolation. I finally saw an announcement that "Birger the Sneak" was in map 54/1. I went there and got the needed damage for the quest, and along the way, noticed another one was sitting with no - or almost no - damage taken off of it. So maybe some of these admirals/super admirals are not being shot in these higher-level maps (which I imagine most players avoid). I'll try to hunt some in these maps in the future, but the system in effect now is quite frustrating.

 

Is there any other way to get escudos? Is it just from captain missions and chests?

the tower defense is total fail, allot of players dont even know what to do cos they dont read anything, its basicly a waste of emblems and time, make it so everyone ported to a groupmap is automatically paired in a group and the chat window pops up so we can coordinate.

 

I would never blame group mates cuz there's no description (on event FAQ) for this map!
BTW how could we join this group map? is not listed in FAQ as well

Will there be another start date for Catalyst Chamber?we still have volcano erupting! and event FAQ was only mention it will start 19 August.

 

If I'm not wrong, that would be the "Elemental Defense" at Andrew Lancaster (SH)
