Rymar - You totally missed my point! I even wrote a redundant "(Feedback)" at the end of my subject line in my other feedback post, in order to try to make myself "crystal clear". You told me to contact Support, but they won't address my question! To tell me to contact them when they won't address an issue makes no sense.

In any event, I only asked for my comments to be forwarded (to someone in management). That's what "feedback" means. Thank you.

P.S. Thank you, @USS_Defender(CAG-01). I recently saw that as another option. Much appreciated! (Which means that contacting Seafight Support is not the only option).

    Hello there Pirate,

If I may attempt to help here,
Before we start I would just like to point out a few things that I'm sure you are probably already aware of.
Firstly the forum is overlooked by volunteer moderators who like yourself are active players, The forum as you know is a place where in-game information is stored and posted with a view to guide players both new and seasoned through the many aspects of Seafight, from the point of playing the game for the very first time right up to experienced players who need to know about new game content, events etc.

We have various areas players can post queries, ideas and general questions as well as minor complaints.
All of the above invites other player/forum users the ability to be able to help each other out, with answers, tips and clues etc.

We as moderators also almost always attempt to answer unanswered questions in the discussion threads, or confirm what other players have replied or suggested, we do not have to do this, but we feel it is only fair to help players out as much as we can, there are of course though limitations as to what the forum moderators are able to answer or resolve.

In cases whereby a query or issue cannot be resolved here in the forum then we will at that point guide a player towards contacting support, at that point the issue is then totally out of our hands, to either help further or find a resolution.

We need to keep the forum fun, friendly and respectful at all times for all concerned.

I notice that you have posted here within the 'Feedback' section, which of course we always welcome feedback, however, in order to prevent me trying to read back through various threads in different locations can I ask, do you have a query or issue that I may be able to assist you with? or some feedback you would like me to either take on board or forward on for consideration.

Thank you for your kind gesture, Mr-Amber. I'm not sure how much detail I should go into. It has been a frustrating several days of dealing with "Customer Support". Here is the crux of the problem: (1) I've reported twice over a few weeks that the logbook does not show "gold boarding amounts". The Seachart tab does, but as you board more, they eventually roll off the tab. So you need the logbook for reference. I contacted Support and this one person (Support person #1) said it was working fine, and sent me proof of my logbook boardings from his end. But my logbook was different, and showed nothing. I sent him the screenshot, and he said he would forward it for review. I waited a good many days, and noticed it was still messed up. So I asked again. I got the same person and *this time* he stated without question that I was losing the boardings due to having lower boarding values. I told him/her that was wrong, and I knew I had boarded a lot of gold. He insisted I was wrong. So (again, providing proof), I found a player and boarded them, and made screenshots of my Seachart tab and logbook. *Finally*, he said he would forward it to the appropriate people. (I was thinking "why am I doing this person's job for them, and what's the deal? And yes, I know they answer many questions, but he should have some kind of list of known issues), (2) I also reported one player multiple times who I am virtually certain is botting our events. I sent proof that something he was doing was suspicious - he boarded me 14 times in 7 seconds, and it was in my logbook! Do the math - that's not possible. So I kept reporting him - another time, I sank him 55 straight times without his firing back. Then a different player sank me 3 times in 5 seconds. <--(I can't get back on my Seachart that fast). But every time - every time - this Support person #2 responded to me on these issues by sending me the standard debuff form letter - "Thank you for your report and for your commitment to fair gameplay. We take reports like yours very seriously and carefully...etc". The problem was I asked him more questions, and apparently, he never read any of them! He just kept firing off the form letter, so (3) the final straw was when I was communicating with Support person #1 and mentioned the Support person #2's laziness, and asked for their supervisor. Yet the Support person #1 (who hasn't shown much competence lately), unilaterally decided that what the Support person #2 did was correct, and closed my ticket! I asked him for a supervisor's name and email to contact, or what the procedure is to have this reviewed, and I got....silenced. Maybe the two Support people are related, I don't know. But I do know that this was handled poorly, Mr-Amber.

So just before I read your reply (and figured Rymar would lecture me and/or give me a "forum warning"), I followed
USS_Defender(CAG-01)!'s kind advice and sent an email to Bigpoint. I have no idea if anyone will contact me back, but at least I tried. Let me also say that hey, I know the company has its own interpretation of the rules, and how things should work on Seafight. I only ask for my emails to be read, considered, and replied to in a professional manner. After all, I have spent a lot of money and time playing this game, and have spent a lot of time trying to make meaningful contributions to the game. And you know what? Even if I had just started, all of the players on here deserve respect.

    Hello there Pirate,

I am sure you are aware however I must point out that although I am sorry you feel that your questions have not been dealt with in a satisfactory manner but unfortunately with regards to your previous concerns, as you have now taken these points up with firstly support and now as you say you have also gone beyond support you must understand that we here in the forum simply cannot help anymore with your issue of sinks, boardings, gold gained or lost, or any suspicious player activity, this is quite literally out of our hands now.

All I can say at this point regarding your boarding queries is I myself have not had any similar reports of inaccurate loot calculations from boardings, or loss of logbook entries in this field, I will however monitor this particular query and if any anomaly is found then it will be forwarded for review.

Unfortunately as stated previously there is nothing further that can be done here in the forum on this subject so this thread will now be closed.

Thank- you for bringing this feedback to my attention and for the polite response you have given, Again I am sorry I cannot assist any further.
