I think this event is out of hand 450 mil for Zoth, good luck on that, pops up every 6 hrs. or so, that's a joke, Damage 500 mil on the creeper or Gantril, good luck on that, I have did that map 7 times and only manage 94 mil, this is the problem with Bp, having all these events is great but there will be no growth in getting new players for the simple fact that things are too high, ole school players get frustrated, new players quit, and the game stays where it's at, now some of us don't mind a challenge, and some other players whom have small boats won't have a chance with some of these quest, mods can come on here and say what they want I'm sure they have bigger boats then the smaller players, get a grip and fix the event so everyone for a change can get something out of it instead of spending hours upon hours on here trying to get damage on something that pops up at crazy hours...

 

The dungeon (Abyss) map is now sailing without all of the freezing up that I previously encountered. I guess someone fixed it, and I'm grateful. But as I recall from last year, the dungeon has many levels, and I think I made it as high as level 7. So how do we "successfully finish it" once? I wanted to ask now, before I waste any more time trying to finish the quest that requires it.

And this 450-million hit point map is a joke! Up until now, I hadn't made it in even once. I sailed for hours last night, and we never even got close to the entry requirement before I finally logged off. Tonight, we finally got it activated. So I made several of the adjustments Rymar suggested. Unfortunately, they didn't help one bit. I had horrible lag. I couldn't hardly move, and that doesn't work when you are trying to dodge liquid fire traps, etc. I had to press F5 twice, and the second time, I was sunk. I'm done with playing this map. I'll just buy what I can in the market and do something else.

It's now 8+ hours since I last posted. In that post I mentioned that the Zoth map was up to 600k souls. I don't know how long it had been looking for souls at that time, but it is still there waiting with 100k left to go.

FriarTuck, I've got into the Zoth map twice and have a grand total of 7M completed. And the Creepers I'm at 12M as I only did it once and failed to even get to Gantril. Now the price tripled to try again. I agree, newer players don't stand a chance when even seasoned veterans can't do it.

@The*Defiant - I think to complete the Abyss you have to take the exit back to the main map vs the one to the next level.

I just turned everything on and it is 13:00 DE Time, and my Labyrinth cost dropped back from 11 to 1.

HUD display additional information (eg. nicknames), if you enabled all options mentioned above you need to complete a full logout in order to see changes. These options help you reduce the lag on Zoth Dagon map as there is "less" to load at your game end.

Regarding the "blue sanity" items, each and every time you are hit by Zoth or receive damage any other way the game assign a debuff to you which reduce your HP, makes you reload slower etc. This is where the "blue sanity" item comes in handy! If you use it (press on it) it will remove a total of 5 stacks from the debuff applied to you

We've forwarded a request for a "dot" on the mini map to be added for Zoth, but will this take place, I am not sure. Sorry.

You shouldn't give up pirate, the event is far from ending! Just keep doing what you can do for now and good luck!

In order to receive a ship design from Shaggot NPC you need to deal most damage or last hit (please be aware that there is just a chance to obtain such desing, so Lady Luck plays a major role here).

Gantril is hidden within the Phantom Labyrinth which you can access by talking to Captain Ravenbeard (the balloon quest-giver).

In order to access this map you need to own some Ancient Emblems.

Are you trying to say that it didn't reset for your yet?

Additionally for EVERYONE:

• Uncle Jacks provide 10 000 event points after certain amount of damage is dealt to them - which allow for easier gain of Event Points for your completion
• Calauche and Lady Lovibond appeared due to Halloween night and are now providing you with a chance to obtain some Ancient Emblems, but be quick pirates as it looks like thes NPCs won't last long!

Zoth is a big mistake. They should just delete it.

 

Uncle Jack also contributes to the admiral damage event completion without one shot sinking you like Shoggoth.

Zoth now at 657.9k souls.

 

By the end of the event, it will reach 1.5 billion... We will add to your soul count the amount we deducted from the damage dealt to Zoth...!!!

 

It reset last night.
On the Zoth-Dagon map, you now have to collect 657,904 souls; it takes hours to gather them all... at this rate, I’ll only be visiting this map once every two days.
